Another player who seems to be getting massively overrated here based on some Youtube clips. Let's not forget, Youtube can make Cleverley look Scholesy!
Embolo is basically a Martial on the right side? Give me a break! Ousmane Dembele I can understand but Embolo has nothing on Martial.
And to suggest that Embolo gets a nod ahead of Rashford is way off the mark. Even the Youtbue videos, which by the way is the worst tool to gauge a players ability, a compilation of Rashford shows a player who's the ability to take on player and glide past players where as Embolo is all about raw pace and power. Just because Embolo has more experience in an inferior league doesn't necessarily mean he should be higher in the pecking order. Rashford would score loads of goals too if he's to play in the Swiss league.
I won't pretend to be an expert on Embolo which I'm clearly not. The first time I saw him was against the Scousers when Paulo Sousa threw him in against them for the final 20 minutes or so. I saw him only a few more times including the game against England. From what I've seen he's more like a Drogba without obviously Drogba's finishing ability which in truth I don't even expect from a 19 year kid. Strikers get more clinical as they grow older. Embolo's game seems to me based on power and pace than anything else.
Would I mind signing him? Absolutely not. There is no harm in stockpiling promising young talents which we should have been doing all these years seeing how well the likes of Bayern, Chelsea, Monaco, Atletico etc. benefited from it.
