Seems like he is on the left side, I thought that was his third best position.
Edit: Oh, a penetrative pass there. Too bad that guy there seems to be a 1:100 striker.
Plays on the left? Do not want
Why is he playing so deep? Get that less-than-clinical cnut Sferovic off and let Embolo play upfront or wide forward.
You're correct in thinking the left is his third most effective position. He's playing on the left because Shaqiri is considered to be Switzerland's star player.Seems like he is on the left side, I thought that was his third best position.

One good pass. Other than that he's been poor so far.
Not blown away.
I'd take Schweinsteiger head the Pogba we saw yesterday, and Rooney ahead of the Griezmann we saw yesterday.Agreed.
Has not shown anything that suggests he is better than Lingard or Young. I'd fancy Valenica at wide right more than the Embolo we have seen today.
Shaqiri was terrible today. Worst player on the pitch for me.You're correct in thinking the left is his third most effective position. He's playing on the left because Shaqiri is considered to be Switzerland's star player.
If what you say is true, that doesn't change the fact that he's considered to be their star player. The rest have to accommodate him, irrespective of their most effective position.Shaqiri was terrible today. Worst player on the pitch for me.
He's been tidy. If you're expecting a Martial-esque performance you're bound to be disappointed. He's had one very good pass, a few decent pieces of hold up play and another couple of moments where he beat his man but was fouled. Not a great deal to go on either way, but as a kid playing in a big tournament, it's a decent enough cameo.
Yep. We'll obviously only know more the more with a bigger sample size to go by, but in terms of "type of player", I like this potential signing.Thought he looked good, not a whole lot to go off but he's always looking to beat a man and be positive.
