Television Breaking Bad

The ending of 'Granite State' with the extended theme was brilliant as well

I've gone ahead and watched last two episodes of season 3 again. My god, definitely my favourite. I consider that as the combined finale - the episodes "Half Measure" and "Full Measure". Absolutely brilliant writing.

Just stuck on a random episode, 4x09 - "Bug"

Hank singing Eye of the Tiger

Definitely an underrated funny moment

I'm on Season 2 Episode 6 so far and Hank has had loads of funny moments. The bit when he is interviewing Jesse over Tuco is great.

Jesse: You think i shot him?
Hank: Pft, No, the only thing you shoot in is a fecking kleenex.

EDIT: Assistant Principal Carmen is

Episode 6/7/8/9 of Season 2 have had me laughing quite a lot, definitely the best run of episodes so far for humour, but also scenes like the tortoise.

Silent, you're only starting to witness the show's greatness. It only get better, nuff said.

Yeah, Walt is starting to become more of a cnut.

Krysten Ritter getting a lot of scenes is an added bonus. My word.

I'm up to season 5, is it better than 4? I can't imagine anything being better than the finale of season 4

I think the only character I find annoying is Marie but that's intentional, she's supposed to be annoying so it's basically the writers doing their jobs properly. I don't even dislike her, all the characters in this programme have redeemable qualities. Hank grated me early on but he has become one of the characters I appreciate the most. I find Jesse a tragic character, especially in the first few seasons. His main battle always seems to be with himself more than anyone else.

I started season 5 and probably the only character who I'm actually starting to dislike is Walt, but again I'm pretty sure that's intentional.

I'm just starting Season 3, but i think midway through Season 2 is when i saw him becoming more dis likable, as he wasn't separating the two sides of himself.

4>3>5>2>1.

2 is by far the most disappointing, but it is at least an ending. 1 is just the end of a mid-season episode that ended up the season finale because of the writer's strike.

As for the whole seasons (and slightly cheating)

4>5b>3>1>2=5a

I will go with that

I've been watching this on netflix and i'm on season 5. Went onto my netflix today and i can only access the first 3 seasons, what is going on?

Turns out it was a problem with Opera.

Finished the series, wow is all i have to say. Probably the best i have ever seen. Every character was played perfectly.

Your vid doesnt work but here it is for anybody that wants to see it (not sure how long it will last here)

made me lol.

Kinda wish i'd seen this, at all. Anywhere I can watch it other than Netflix?

Sign up for Netflix, you'll get a free one month trial. If you get as addicted as I (and pretty much everyone else who started watching it recently) did, you'll have finished the entire series within that first month.

Or you know, google is your friend.

Well, it isn't. If any of my friends knew what google knows about me i'd move.

Already did but cancelled because it was shit. Not sure whether they'll have me again. Is this broadcast in the Uk ever?

I think Channel 5 showed the first couple of series but since then no UK broadcaster has picked it up. It's got Channel 4 written all over it but probably too expensive, plus everyone's watched it on Netflix now, so that ship has sailed.

In terms of plot it's probably the best I've ever seen. The Sopranos has the best characters, while The Wire is the whole package wrapped up in fantastic social commentary, which makes it the greatest in my opinion.

Depends what you value though, I can see arguments for all three.
