Television Breaking Bad

Best show Ive ever watched. Last 3 episodes were class. The farewell scenes with the family were great, and I like how they ended it with Walt and Jesse.

Really funny how he made the Schwarz'es take his money. I was afraid that they were pretending he had just hired some hitmen out of nowhere which would have been bad writing but instead its Badger and the other guy with laser pointers

Only thing I didnt quite like about the last season was how fast Walt suddenly wanted Jesse offed. It seemed unrealistic and a leap in character even taking into account his moral detorioration. It didnt make sense that he cared more for Hank than he seemingly cared for Jesse. Anyway, aside from that, which only happend in episode 12-13 or something the last half of the final season was excellent.

Why does it not make sense that he cared more for Hank? I know we've only seen 2 years of his life, but he obviously had a life before that, which included hank as a big part of it. They were family, of course he cared more for him.

I'm not convinced he did. I mean, where did they show that to us? You're having to make a big assumption there, poor writing imo.

I know, I was thinking that. Do you reckon his life just started at 50 then? What a way to start your life, with cancer.

They never showed Walt taking a shit, are we supposed to believe he didn't shit for 2 years?

Or the 50 years before that? In fact, did we even see Walt and Skylar have sex to create Holly? I can't remember.

Just rewatch the first 2 seasons and you will see why it makes little sense. Hank and Walt had a weird, strained relationship before Walt got more confident and more of an equal to Hank. On the other hand, Jesse and Walt spend a large amount of time together experiencing extreme highs and lows - the kind of stuff that bond people together. There are several examples of Walt caring a lot for Jesse throughout the series, such as giving him money he wouldnt have had to, tracking him down and getting himself back on his feet several times when he starts using etc.

Hank showed to Walt that their relationship was never more important to him than his job the way he turns instantly, labelling Walt 100% criminal he wants to arrest when he realised Walt was involved in the meth cooking.

All the way throughout the series Walt has been protective of Jesse, and I think the change from protection to wanting him killed in cold blood was a bit too rapid.

This is just nitpicking anyway, the last 3 episodes more than made up for it. They didnt end it with something silly like Walt killing Jesse or the other way around.

Wasn't Walt against killing Jessie until Jessie phoned him up from the payphone and made a threat against him and his family?

It wasn't rapid. The idea was suggested to him a couple of times by Saul and then even by Skyler (I think) but he resisted. It was only when he saw no other option and it was clearly him vs Jessie did he decide enough was enough.

But I do agree I don't think Hank and Walt had a very strong relationship. Just a case of family sticking together I guess

Cmon man, you can't even go on and compare. While Walt protected Jesse many times and had a close relationship with him, Hank was family.

Im sure you all feel deep close relationships to the spouses of your wives' siblings.

My uncle (my mother's sister's husband) died from a heart attack a couple of years ago and my dad was as shaken up as anyone in the family. What a terrible thing to be sarcastic about.

Two points.

Hank is his family. For Walt, it's a very big thing. The whole show has sat on this premise, at least in walts head, that everything is okay of its for the family. Yes, the money is meant fir skyler and the kids but hank is part of his definition of what makes up his family.

Secondly, as much as he cares for Jesse, if Jesse were to go it wouldn't affect styler or the kids. But if hank did, it would destroy everything he has at home, as happened eventually with his son. Even when he called Walt junior about the money, he rejected it emphasizing on his belief that "you killed uncle hank".

Where is his neck ?

Have you been living under a mineral?

This is funny, reminds of the Bmineral jokes

His head looks even stranger at a closer view.

I must admit, as I'd re-watched the earlier series' again right before S05b aired and it was fresh in my memory, I'd picked up on the similarities between Hank fantasising about catching Heisenberg and how he acted when he did catch him.

I'm glad somebody went to the trouble of editing together as such. Great video.

I've cocked up. I'm now making 10,500 batches more than I'm selling a second. I have over 2 million surplus batches. feck.

Just click on sell to reduce the number you have. Nothing wrong with having more batches to sell.

I've managed to get the Foreign Diplomat now, but I couldn't make a dent in the number of batches no matter how quickly I was clicking. In the same boat again now as I've just bought a second underground lab and need 800mil for another diplomat
