Television Breaking Bad

I must admit, as I'd re-watched the earlier series' again right before S05b aired and it was fresh in my memory, I'd picked up on the similarities between Hank fantasising about catching Heisenberg and how he acted when he did catch him.

I'm glad somebody went to the trouble of editing together as such. Great video.

That's a great catch.

Selling $1.2m per second, making -11k per second. Got a surplus of 56m though, so I'm not running out any time soon. In fact, I need to sell more. Need the City Police Force at $5bn.

Good for you Liam, Good for you.

This game is fecking stupid, I've got nearly 100 million batches of meth in surplus. If anyone's thinking about playing it - don't bother.

I'm at a point now where I'm producing 120,000 odd batches more per second than I'm selling, but the next stage of distribution costs over $5billion and only shifts 20,500 units per second.

I'm sure it doesn't beat the drug lord game I used to play years ago.

If I save the game and close it down will it be there to open next time I go on the website?

There's distribution options above that one that seem to come with just time.

I just went on for the first time since earlier and suddenly had a 100% chance of getting caught without having bought anything. How come that happened?

Also is it being upgraded as we speak? When I went on there were new upgrades that weren't there earlier on.

Yeah it got updated about 2 hours ago, same thing happened to me so I lawyered up.

Now I'm about to pay off a Rival Cartel. feck this game!

A letter from Anthony Hopkins to Bryan Cranston:

Dear Mister Cranston

I wanted to write you this email - so I am contacting you through Jeremy Barber - I take it we are both represented by UTA . Great agency.
I've just finished a marathon of watching "BREAKING BAD" - from episode one of the First Season - to the last eight episodes of the Sixth Season. (I downloaded the last season on AMAZON) A total of two weeks (addictive) viewing.

I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!

Your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen - ever.

I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bullshit in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really.
But this work of yours is spectacular - absolutely stunning. What is extraordinary, is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers.... every department - casting etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome.
From what started as a black comedy, descended into a labyrinth of blood, destruction and hell. It was like a great Jacobean, Shakespearian or Greek Tragedy.

If you ever get a chance to - would you pass on my admiration to everyone - Anna Gunn, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, Betsy Brandt, R.J. Mitte, Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Steven Michael Quezada - everyone - everyone gave master classes of performance ... The list is endless.
Thank you. That kind of work/artistry is rare, and when, once in a while, it occurs, as in this epic work, it restores confidence.
You and all the cast are the best actors I've ever seen.

That may sound like a good lung full of smoke blowing. But it is not. It's almost midnight out here in Malibu, and I felt compelled to write this email.
Congratulations and my deepest respect. You are truly a great, great actor.

Best regards
Tony Hopkins.

I have watched it all. I marathoned it within 2 weeks, much like Tony Hopkins. Best show ever by an absolute mile. It has everything!

Giancarlo Esposito (Gus) pulled off an absolutely fantastic performance.

4>3>the rest.

Thought the ending of the whole thing itself was pretty disappointing, to be honest. Nothing like as good as the ending of season 4, which was genuinely shocking. In a good way... ;)

4>3>5>2>1.

2 is by far the most disappointing, but it is at least an ending. 1 is just the end of a mid-season episode that ended up the season finale because of the writer's strike.

As for the whole seasons (and slightly cheating)

4>5b>3>1>2=5a

Not in the same league as The Sopranos or The Wire, but still good. Esposito was excellent. I think it went downhill after season 4.

Well it's a tough call for me between 3 and 4. But the scene with Walt running over those two dealers and shooting them, is one of my favourites.

I'd be similar but probably 4 > 3 > 5b > 1 > 5a > 2

I really thought 2 was considerably poorer than the rest of the series. 4 and 3 edge 5b for me, mainly because they were brilliant throughout the 13 episodes where as 5b was a little disjointed, although it still had 2 or 3 of the best episodes of the entire show. 4 also had the best finale ever, I mean, they could've basically ended the show on that.

What are people's favourite individual episodes? For me 4 Days Out stands out. And then the season finale for series 4 and Ozymadias. There are probably others in series 4, that whole series was so good.

4 and 5b are the best for me. The rest are fantastic as well thought and help build up to those two

As for episodes, Ozymandias. Simply incredible stuff.
