Television Breaking Bad

He isn't much of a forward thinker, Pinkman. Probably just wants to see "that asshole" behind bars, bitch.

Christ, can't anyone shoot straight these days

At that range? With that caliber? Even if they missed they couldn't miss*. Unrealistic scene, Hank and Gomez should have been dead (we'll wait until the next episode to conclude on this I guess)

I think the Ozymandias poem refers to Hank, not Walt. Walt left the game a long time ago. Hank is the proud one who is basking in the glory of having brought Heisenberg down, he even boasts to his wife. But after he is dead (probably) and the phone call recording is destroyed, what is left of his endeavors?

Yeah. That's how it's gonna be.

As if Todd's uncle would miss. And as if two trained police officers would too. Thought it was a daft scene and they and trying too hard to leave every episode on a cliffhanger, this was just silly. Jesse is a huge prick and he needs to die.

When Walter was losing his mind and spewing out how everything he did was to protect him, I couldn't help but think that the conversation might have been recorded.

I thought the same. The audio sounded weird. Jesse's rant down the phone definitely sounded recorded, or fake. Can't put my finger on it, but it was something that I kept thinking was 'off' as I watched it.

Even if the call was recorded it would have been an illegal wiretap and not admissible in court.

There was no evidence of Walt killing anyone. Most of his corpses were dissolved in acid or disintegrated into particles. A phone call recording and Jesse turning state evidence wouldn't be enough to put him away. He'd lose the buried money, but the car wash would have been enough for them to live on.

What an immense episode, why does this show have to end again? nothing on TV has ever gripped me as much as this has.

Totally agree with this - I have uni classes till 6pm on a Monday, which means that just as I'm getting home the latest episode is going up on Netflix.

Get home, grab some food and load up the new episode literally 5 minutes after I'm back. It's good to have something to look forward to!

Says the lad that posted this at 2am! You might as well have stayed up for it, mate!

I have the dinner on now and Breaking Bad loading up. The building could go up on fire and I won't be budging!

I thought at least one of the Redneck gang were gonna be popped in the previous episode. One of them at least is getting popped in the next episode, it'll be some heroic stand from Gomi or Hank for sure.

Hank has to be dead, otherwise it's a cop out. Gomie may or may not be dead too, depending on what happens to Jesse (if Jesse gets away Gomie my be with him, if Jesse is captured then Gomie probably dies)

If Hank does die, Walt is screwed. No way Skylar will stick by him, she may even provide evidence against him.

My prediction is Walt will save Jesse, either by offering to cook or by giving the Nazis money. He then goes on the run when his family turns on him. The Nazis and Lydia know Jesse could send them down, so they decide to kill him. Walt, realising this, comes back with the machine gun and ricin to kill them and save Jesse, thus getting his redemption.

Gomez is definitely going down, he was going to get killed somewhere along the line as soon as Hank involved him in this. He's also the biggest brown noser in the world, so needs to be sent to Belize anyway.

Hank and Gomie should both be dead otherwise it's a cop out, there's no way they could survive being that outnumbered. I highly doubt Walt could take out that gang, he still doesn't know how to hold a gun properly!

It's not even how outnumbered they are, it's how outgunned they are. Seriously that AA12 would wasted them both and Walt when it was fired at the car. Seriously baffling scene in that respect.

I am dreading seeing how annoying Marie is going to be when she finds out about Hank (persuming he dies).

Well for me it's quite clear she is going to blab, Skyler and Walt Jr. will be put into Witness Protection and Walt will go on the run with the help of Saul. This is the gospel according to Saint Mark.

Saul if brilliant. A really good character. You know he appeared in Arrested Development as a Shrink?

Oh yeah, he's the shrink who ends up taking Lindsay's place in a role play thing with Tobias? I just downloaded Mr. Show with him and David Cross, hopefully it's quality.

If the Nazis had opened up and just fecking obliterated Hank it would have been probably the best BB episode ever, because it was absolutely superb right up to that point. Even if they ended it before they opened fire it would have been better.

This is really a minor criticism, as I said it was an incredible episode.

Agree, it's more likely that it'll be Jesse and Walt left with the Nazis. The only thing that gives me pause is the fact that Gomie has the keys for the car Jesse is in, maybe he could make a run for the car and get away with Jesse? Or maybe I'm reading too much into the way they placed Gomie and Jesse with that car.

Yeah, Hank and Gomie should both be dead, the amount of times they were shot at there was ridiculous. It'll make sense if we see them die at the start of the next episode though.

If, as expected (and it'd be a massive cop out if they survive) Hank and Gomez are killed though, what has changed with Walt's confession bit? Hank may dead but Marie surely wouldn't want Hank's name to be dirt amongst all his friends and collegues just to get Walt. The fact he'd have been killed in a rogue mission in the desert would just support the confession as well. Of course Skyler might turn if Hank dies but she's been even colder than Walt so far this series.

I must say i'm surprised with Walt's plotting in the past couple of episodes, I thought he'd be a lot more ruthless than he has been. Frankly he was more evil in the first part of the season 5 than he's generally been this part.

I was certain Hank would get a bullet straight to the chest when they started the shooting. It would have been the perfect end for his characther after he finally got his salvation and victory.

Seeing as they chose to keep him alive, I can't see any way they'll kill him off in the beginning of the next episode, it won't have anywhere near the same emotional impact like if he had been shot down the second the bullets started flying.

Odd term used here.

He will probably get shot and will be injured but not dead. But saying that, the Nazis are hardly going to leave a job half done are they.....
