Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

When Memphis scored:

Right in the last minute of the first half, what a joke.

Oh feck off.

What a shite weekend

To be second to that shower....our lot should be absolutely ashamed. United are so bad, seriously poor side.

May as well turn your phones off guys to spare you the inevitable rag texts later on.

4 minutes of injury time they scored in. 4 minutes in the 1st half. We concede from awful officiating. Nothing changes

Being second by a point at this stage in the season isn't so bad it's just we've played much better and they've scraped wins playing shit which makes it even more frustrating.

The rest of the PL games thread:

Not worried though beat Newcastle and Bournemouth and we will be top going into the Derby. One of those days today.

2 Weeks ago people like you were saying "Not bothered we beat WH and spurs and well still be above." We're too confident

That rag tawt Le Tiss loving this !!

Im actually feeling so fecking sick. We will go into the derby with all our players injured and on a loss streak.

De Gea saving them always allllfeckingwayyyyys. He's now undoubtedly the best keeper in the world. That's he shouldn't play for rags.

I read it came off weetabix hairs knee? fecking typical!!

We lose, Wiggy breaks his scoring duck and all the media outlets will be creaming their pants. If Carling didn't do weekends...

Working a late shift and the resident Rags just can't control their giddiness.
Reminded them that you win nowt in September.

My place of work is full of closet rags I've nust even had 1 scream Championies at me......WTF? Haha

What a shit weekend. I was going to buy the new Fifa but feck that. I'm having a football free week.

cnuts

We're in fecking crisis sack the whole lot feck

From the United thread (it's unusually quiet today, hmm, I wonder why!):

Looks like we have to take them seriously. Worryingly they are starting to score goals. That's 3 in each of their last 4 games.

Uniteds fixtures have been kind lets not take them that serious

Work will be fun on monday morning; can't wait.

:-(

This thread from after their win against Palace

The gap and the benefit of a perfect start

Okay, I know I'm getting waaay ahead of myself, but have a look at the upcoming fixtures for us and our competition.

Assume we can beat West Ham & Spurs next week, followed by Newcastle at home the following week.

A Chelsea win this week paired with a win for us versus West Ham would see us 8 points ahead of Arsenal and 11 ahead of Chelsea. An Arsenal win would see us 5 ahead of them, and 14 ahead of Chelsea, effectively killing Chelsea's hopes of retaining their title.

The following week we start the weekends games with the early game against Spurs. We've had great success in the recent past over them at White Hart Lane but I think even moreso this time we are a perfect mismatch for where they are at. So lets say we beat Spurs that week. Arsenal have an extremely tricky visit to Leicester and Chelsea are away to Newcastle in the late kickoff. Anything can happen this weekend, but it would be no surprise to see someone drop at least two points. As long as it isn't us, we could see ourselves with our lead increasing on one if not both teams.

Which brings us to the week of October 4th. We've a 3pm kickoff against Newcastle at home. That should be a winnable game at home if we perform to our levels.Chelsea have a late kickoff vs Southampton, and Arsenal play the rags. So Arsenal have another tricky tie.

So looking forward at those batch of fixtures and if we can win through it's very feasible to see us pull way ahead of Chelsea, possibly 10-12 points ahead of Arsenal or even have an 8 point lead over Arsenal & United.

Few of them turning on Sterling already.
I won't say he's been poor but he hasn't offered anything of note. He and De Bryune cost about the same but De Bryune looks twice the player on the ball.

We can all take the piss out of the rags being poor etcetera but there the feckers are at the top of the league, which after throwing hundreds of millions at the team they should be there or thereabouts. I seriously hope we get our injured players and some form back before the derby otherwise i am booking a fecking holiday away for that weekend!

I actually fancy our chances (with BFS starting) against any top 4 team but i don't* fancy us against a tough midtable team who come to park the bus and hit on the counter. At least top 4 teams come to play football which works in our favor.

*typo

LVG seems to be brilliant in the big games (we had the best record against the rest of the top 4 in the league last year). We just need to make sure that we perform against the teams that park the bus.

For all the money spent we are so average it's a joke. Another season of getting overrun in big away games and looking like shit in Europe. Yayyy!!

Pelle out.

Going forward was just dredful. Sterling needs to join Navas practising shooting. Aguero just dont seem to be at the races at all.

feck. Seriously bad. Where the hell has Aguero gone?

Weekend ruined, just like the good old days. Thanks you spineless cnuts.

Injury list - Silva, Kompany, Toure, Bony, Kelechi, Hart, Clichy, Zabaleta, Mangala, Delph. What the feck?

We're in the midst of a collapse.

We can all laugh at United now as they go top of the league. No team will beat them 4-1. Haha turtle head this, family man that.

I saw more guts in the butchers earlier. Utterly weak in attitude and application.

feck. Pellegrini has so much to answer for, with his Cabellero '2 games at a time' fetish.

All that hard work to win 5 on the bounce has been absolutely demolished in one dire, depressing 90 minutes.

Garbage. From first to last man.

If Pep is the answer then let's stop buggering around and bloody get him

Well that 2nd half was a disgrace.

Caballero, Sagna, Demichellis, Otamendi & Kolarov all shite.

If this was the last game of the season Hart & Kompany would have 100% played this game.

Champions League fecking our title chances up again.

Absolutely pig sick at that result even if I do believe that Spurs equaliser changed the game.

Disgraceful performance and the biggest defeat since 2008.

The lot of them can feck off after that.

Those utter twa*Ts from across town have a better mentality and are far more clinical than us which is criminal considering the talent we have at the club. It is probably virtually impossible but I hope Sunderland actually turn up today and don't roll over.

Sterling was a passenger yet again. I'm sure people will say he's only just about to turn 21 so he's not the finished product, well don't pay 50m for him then.

I'd drop Aguero next league game

This one is great

Our biggest problem is our obsession with the Champions League. If we weren't in it, we would now be 6 points better off.

I won't say he's been poor but he hasn't offered anything of note. He and De Bryune cost about the same but De Bryune looks twice the player on the ball.

Not really a surprise, Sterling has always been massively overhyped.

Why are they blaming the Champions League? They've only played one fecking game, they're not playing 2 leg SF's FFS!

I know quite a few scousers and they wasn't arsed at all when sterling left, they literally couldn't have cared less. They all said he was a good player but nothing special....I guess they were right.

He's like 20 still and already good.

De Bruyne at that age wasn't even that good.

Loving the meltdowns atm

At least Liverpool are a proper rival, an actual football club who are worthy rivals, whilst 'City' are just a plastic franchise that deserve everything that is happening at the moment

It's amazing how such an average team are currently sitting top. We are streets ahead of everyone in the league player wise with Chelsea and Arsenal behind us. The rest of the league is chronic.

I love how, because they think they have a better team than everyone else, (though Sterling is average, Aguero is way out of form, Silva is injured and De Bruyne is a defensive liability) they have some moral right to win the league this year.

From their MOTD thread:
Shearer will be looking a bit happier tonight no doubt.

The only thing that can stop him from having a face like a slapped arse is a City loss.

Why would Shearer give a feck about City? They were a non-entity when he was a player.

I can hear Pearce now:
"Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes of Moyesatoa,
This team has been rebuilt out of nothing,
Fighting to the end against unassailable odds,
To claim the Top of the League In September trophy with all of the pathos and aplomb that only they can exude.
Ohh, ohhhhhh, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" (splodge)

Johnathan Pearce is a Rag too, apparently. Rags everywhere. Anyone found not carving Aguero and Silva's names into their own flesh when analysing City is a rag.

From the Utd thread:
Its official
United have won the title
Tremendous scenes involving day trippers
Tramps, more day trippers from all over the place in town tonight
You wouldn't expect anything else from these deluded little feckwits
They've had a relatively easy start to the campaign. Spurs should have beat them and Liverpool are dogshit right now. Then they've played Sunderland, Newcastle and villa who are shit.
Let's see how they get on next month. Raggy feckeds will probably win them all with 6 offside goals, 3 own goals and 4 debatable penalties.

Raggy feckeds

Someone had the audacity to mention the amount of money City have spent in the summer in a negative light:
Who's fecking side you on pal?

Go and learn some history you moron. If you're a city fan that is one of the most anti-city comments you could make. The spend is of no significance, it's all relative to how rich our owners are and rich owners and a stable club is what we could only dream off for the last 40 years. Look at the spend of the rags, or scousers???? Is it not significant too? It's of NO significance what we've spent. We didn't win today but take out the 5 core players of any team and add in shit linesmen and no team would pass that test. We've still got the best team in the league and we will win it but with attitudes like yours I cringe what real fans must think about our new fan base who attack our financial clout

During our game:
The media hitting the wank wall over our loss and potential rag leaders.

Mike Jones doing his 12th man impression for United very well. They have been rubbish as usual but he will get the them a goal or two.

Not complaining about suspected bias. Foreseeing it. Astounding.

This one isn't even about United, but I did find it funny. City and their enormous contribution to the Premier League's pool of players:
I see the candle-wavers are having to rely on their ex-City players to score today.

Jimmy with the first and the greedy one with the second.

Under his username he has "occupation: rag hater".

And the inevitable United link in losing today (I'm assuming United are the "scum"):
Clatttenburh, eh?

Is the cnut in the scum payroll?

My rag mate just sent me an unedited version of that screenshot

HPDaax1.png

I honestly just saved the image further up to edit it too. :(

Yours is funnier than mine was going to be tbf.

Hmm maybe not losing 4-1 would help.

For fans that have spent decades in the shadows, they have a strange superiority complex. They seem insulted that we're above them.

Same with some Liverpool fans. There's selective memory at play but also so many people these days are so sure that we're completely gone even though we were 4th last year. Poor by our standards but an improvement of 3 places over the year before. You'd think we were relegated when SAF left. With our resources, we'll win the league back eventually (next year or 2, imo). They might go mad when we do though.

Complaining to BT because the pundits are ex United and Liverpool?

Because Niall Quinn is the picture of objectivity on Sky Sports, eh?

They are total lunatics.

I bet they forgot the 2-1 derby at old trafford when Rooney scored the overhead kick when Francis Lee was in the studio having an absolute meltdown too.

EDIT: Or was it Summerbee? it was some bertie butt hurt prick anyway.

Summerbee I think.

To be honest it has been pretty grim viewing for United fans the last twenty years.. every pundit is ex-scouse or affiliated to Liverpool in some way.. They were successful so their guys got all the gigs. Next twenty years or so will be ex-Utd .. those not good enough for management or coaching, anyway

I won't say he's been poor but he hasn't offered anything of note. He and De Bryune cost about the same but De Bryune looks twice the player on the ball.

Like Memphis, he needs time to settle into the new league.... oh wait...

It's actually so boring reading this thread. The fans (if you can call them that) are just plain bitter and foul. :boring: Not even funny like RAWK :p

You're right. Some of the scousers are actually quite clever and can take the piss out of themselves.
