They have been city fans since the day they won the title. It has all been downhill since.For fans that have spent decades in the shadows, they have a strange superiority complex. They seem insulted that we're above them.

What's worrying is that there are people out there who actually really do think like that.

To be as angry and as bitter and as aggressive as they are over what is, no matter how much it's it's hyped, just a game is really quite sad.
Some of them should really just step away from the keyboard and step in to the real world for a little while and mix with real people, rather than their imaginary rag mates, because it's only making them unhappy.
I mean, if I had an imaginary friend who supported say Chelsea, and all he did was make me sad and angry, I would stop imagining him, and imagine a different friend, like a giant raccoon that supported Doncaster Rovers but never brought it up in our imaginary discussions or something.
I would imagine he just spoke about fast cars and women and stuff like that.

That's what strikes me. It's the most hostile forum I've ever seen from a particular group. When you look at what they type, it's like they are frothing in the mouth while typing. Very vile hatred.
And that hatred is quite surprising. Most Man Utd fans had no qualms about Cheering for them when they were battling with Liverpool for the title.

It's always been like that. The scousers are deluded and obsessed with themselves (what they used to be) but I have some respect for them and even for RAWK, with all its flaws. It's pretty obvious that every over aggressive post, and the constant uses of "rag" are from posters who have only been City fans for a couple of years. They're trying too hard to appear like proper supporters.

Partly true. But RAWK even at their worst has a more mature bunch than bluemoon. I guess it comes down to how well forums are moderated. I don't expect rival forums to say good things about each other but the language, tone can be a lot more civil. I can definitely stay in RAWK more than I can do on Bluemoon. The fact that there is (was?) a constant AV autoplaying doesn't help either. Not sure about the shed end, accessed it once on the iPad, seemed like a broken piece of tech.

Nobody over the last couple of pages here has even said that we're not bothered about City. Nobody here has the delusion that City are not a good side and won't be a threat. They are a good side, and are still favourites. Nobody has said otherwise.

Its a serious inferiority complex..they have done so well, and for a club that were in the 3rd division less than 20 years ago, their fans should be enjoying their change in fortune. But no, they are more obsessed with the rags than their own achievements.
Of course we will always get the most attention, United is a great brand built over the years. The same fans that complain about our press coverage swarm online columns on any story involving United, then complain when those publications produce more United stories.
