Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I don't think Pogba's happening for them...I can see them going for the likes of Barkley or Wilshere next, they will start to get a bit desperate! The funny thing is, I think a lot of footballers are thinking like Delph now, despite the attraction of earning sky high wages and such, I think footballers are beginning to learn more minutes means more exposure which leads to more opportunities in their short careers.

They are clearly after English players as they are dangerously low on home grown players. As you said I think they will start getting desperate now. I think they will pull out all the stops to get Sterling now they have been rejected by Delph and they will throw the full £50 million at Liverpool and offer him something crazy like £150,000 a week.

I think after that though they will look at cheaper home grown options. Probably end up buying another Sinclair or something like that.

Talking about Bluemoon always mentioning Utd, City fans used to be absolutely obsessed with Utd pre money. Their own seasons were usually dull and dreary shite so I think the biggest thrill for them was beating us in the derby or watching us lose. They'd cheer on Chelsea and Arsenal. I think overall the obsession has cooled a bit as they've had their own success but it's still there and it probably always will be.

That film they made a few years ago to celebrate finishing 5th had City fans who refused to let their children have red crayons or pens to draw with. Real loonies. The city cafe at the Etihad put dye in the ketchup so it would be blue instead of red.

You don't get any Utd fans that hate city enough to pull that sort of daft shit. That said the dislike is building and the Derby win last season was as sweet a moment we've had in ages, it felt magic. The hatred is definitely more even now than it was pre 2008.
I refused to drink blue moon beer...Absolutely and refuse, despite my mates telling me it tastes nice and really recommend the stuff (I'm a beer fan) they find it utterly hilarious that I won't go touch the stuff..(One was actually gobsmacked I refused to take a free one) They even offered me £20 quid and I still wouldn't drink it, just out of my own damn respect for my own hatred of that putrid club and it's shit cnut fans! (Except Bobby Manc..he's ok...I suppose)

Just looked at their United thread, one guy refutes a point about how Uniteds squad is ageing and he just gets called a rag because he referred to United as 'Man Utd'. He replies by saying that he'd use the word 'rag' if he were 10 years old but is then called a rag anyway. In the end, no one bothers to refute his original point because he's apparently a rag.

They're all so paranoid

They're not even a little right in the head.

As an aside, Blue Moon is lovely beer, used to drink it often, like feck I'd let a connection with that shower of cockgoblins take something I enjoy from me.

City are insignificant to me and nothing related to them bothers me. The weather on TV has blue moon playing in the background and it's no problem.
Now Liverpool... that's a different matter. I'm very petty about them.
I make English grammar sheets for my students and often use Liverpool or their players in bad stories or questions.
The Beatles can feck off, too. They're massive over here.

If you live in Manchester, City have become more of a problem. They have all come out of the woodwork now!

I lived there for forty years. They were annoying then but pretty much kept their heads down.
Do they still all live in Stockport?

A lot do! I work in Oldham and the amount of City fans is disturbing so I guess the Greater Manchester mill town thing does ring true!

I live in North Manchester and the visibility of City fans across the region has increased massively in the past few years.

I suppose it was to be expected.
My secondary school was in Sale and there were only 3 city fans in my class. We were not even that good then (77-81) so it wasn't glory hunters.

City are a fecking tiny club, not even made massive by vast amounts of someone else's wealth. No history, shit fans.

tbf the chances of that guy being a rag are quite high.

Squad getting older, defense and midfield needing an overhaul, striker needed when Dzeko and jovetic leave and of course a 2nd tier manager. City will do well to strengthen this summer especially since they require England players.

Can't see them getting De Bruyne or Pogba, they might get Sterling but will over pay for him.

Lets hope their bad luck continues from Delph and we batter them again next season.

Surely we need a song like their Jones/aguero slant.

We signed scheeinsteiger you got turned down by Delph.. Turned down by Delph!

I think I would explode laughing if Pogba turned them down as well.... Especially if he chose to go somewhere offering less wages.

I would be very shocked if Pogba or De Bruyne signed for them. I am sure they would both have much more attractive offers than them.

f
Wow, lovely beer regardless of the city connection, somebody offered you 20 sheets and a free beer and you decline?

Why not drink it, save the bottle top, then piss in said empty bottle and have back to a city fan, that way your quids in a beer up and about to ruin a city fan life

Actually there was a Bobbymanc (also a City fan) on the FIFA forums when I used to post there, I've been curious if it's the same guy @BobbyManc

Can't say it is, this is the only forum I bother to post on really and the only one where I have this username. It was a widely used nickname for Roberto Mancini in his time at City so I'm not too surprised if other City fans have picked it up as a username.

Ah! That makes sense then, the guy on the FIFA forums was actually one of the better posters there too.

oh dear. that bobbymanc on bluemoon, i remember seeing that person explain the source of the nickname, coming from "possibly the greatest manager in City's history." Only now do I realize who that manager is

well, feck:lol:

I really can't recall any manager at any club amassing such idolisation in such short at a time at a club as Mancini did at City. I wouldn't say he was the greatest we've had, that title surely has to go to Joe Mercer, but he has to be up there and in terms of popularity not many can rival him.

He got you your first title for over 40 years. He's bound to be popular. If he'd had a go at Fergie as well he would be worshipped as a god like the scousers do with Rafa.
