He must have one of the easiest jobs in the world.
Since the 09-10 season he has played 15 games. Yet has been on City's books for 3 full seasons, 4 if he stays this season!

"Actually guys I'm a city fan for a long time. It's been my stag weekend in which my mates booked us a tour of the etihad, but as typical stag fashion it wasn't that straight forward. I had to wear a scum shirt, as much as it pains me to wear it I went along all in good jest. I had a lot of dirty looks round the stadium which I expected and had plenty of light hearted abuse throughout the tour..... like emoticon

He'll never get a game for City, happy to sit there as 3rd choice.
By converting euros to pounds presumably.52.32 million! How the hell did they make up such a random number!
Of course.
He is 37 and probably bringing £20,000+ a week? Not bad!
They are buying very well this summer, has to be said. And they will still probably add a top level defender and striker after Schneiderlin.
Really?
Not heard of the right back before.
Schweinsteiger getting 1 last payday.
And for schneiderlin see lallana, loveren and lambert.....
They've bought average players mate, not 1 of them are an upgrade on what they have.
Just stocking fillers.
I don't think the second one has watched an awful lot of football.

Bluemoon moron said:Smart business from them - though it's still nice to step back and revel in their misfortune over the last few years. They're getting excited by good midfielders, and signing world class players past their prime, and we are chasing the next bunch of young world class talent heading into their prime in Pogba, Sterling and De Bruyne. Land them or not, our targets this summer are a level above at the moment.

Well they chased him but he got in a car and they couldn't catch up"Chasing the next bunch of young world class talent"
Where does getting rejected by Delph fit into that?
Land them or notWhat the feck does this post even mean? They're not actually bothered about who they get as long as they're rumoured to be buying the latest £40m+ player.
We tried that by the way in 2013 going after Alcantara and Fabregas and guess what? We ended up with Afroman and feck all else.

He's a closet rag mate!Holy shit, there'll be war, that CIty guy on Sky was complementary towards Man Utd's signings.
I saw it again, turns out "City guy" was Goater. He's a closet rag mate!

Has there ever been a more paranoid and obsessed set of fans than them?. You read their threads and there are like 2 or 3 actual related posts on each page and the rest of the posts are just accusing each other of being 'rags' or writing posts targeting any 'rags' reading their forum.
It would be incredibly sad if it wasn't so ridiculous lol.
He won't be earning £20k, no way near. No denying he's stealing a living, but he'd only be earning about £1000 a week if he were to look for a move elsewhere. City will be paying him no more than £5k and I'd be surprised if it was even more than half that.
I'm quite baffled by your predictions.
Bearing in mind some league 2 players are on way more than 1k a week, I'm not sure why you think a player with premier league experience wouldn't be on more than that?
I also think you'd be surprised. This is City, 5k a week would be madly cheap. I'd think more than double that.
I don't know what you perception of City is, but nobody just gives someone a high wage because they can. If Wright were to leave City, what would he earn? He's a 37 year old GK who hasn't had a season as a regular keeper at any level since the 08-09 season. League Two players paid £1,000 a week are expected to play regularly, Wright is there merely to train, help the other keepers and contribute towards the HG quota. If he left we'd just sign another old English keeper. He knows he's incredibly lucky to be at City. To think that they are paying him £10k + a week simply because we can is baffling.

I'd be interested what 3rd choice keepers at other clubs are paid.
Premier league youngsters will be on a pretty penny, which is why it's hard for clubs lower down to make it worth their while to stay.
Something has persuaded Richard Wright to basically write off the last few years of his career, and I'm pretty sure it's not just saying that he's part of a big premier league team's squad.

City fans are mild compared to some of the demented souls that populate RAWK. I've found that many older City fans are quite sane and enjoy the rivalry that exists.
Yup! In real life, every City fan I've spoken to have been nice fellows at the very least, Liverpool fans are usually loud, and bafflingly arrogant. In real life, the City fans can be better than the Liverpool ones. However, on the forums Rawk is just deluded whereas Bluemoon is nasty and spiteful.
Bluemoon said:He's a tidy player and improves them but their likely starting midfield isn't something us chelsea or even arsenal will fear. It's competent and little more. Schneiderlin would of been a good squad player for us, he'll be an average key player for United. I obviously don't wish them to improve in any way shape or form but we have to accept they will and it could of been a lot worse than them lining up with a schweinsteiger that has imo "done a Torres" after his injuries and Schneiderlin.
Bluemoon said:Some on here have been talking up this guy as some kind of worldbeater. He's a nice solid player & that's it. If he was as good as some people say, then City would actually have been all over him long ago, as would Chelsea & Arsenal, at that kind of price. They're not, because he isn't that special, he's a nice solid player & nothing more.
I think both he & perhaps Pigsticker could be very good signings for Utd & make them very tough to play against in centre mid. But you can only play 11, & it means an injury prone ageing player & a not particularly inspiring one, taking up two spots. Then their star man, Felaini needs a place. Rooney, four. Two places left for creativity, or they have to start leaving out centre mids . As soon as you take out one of those 3 c mids, then you start asking the question of 'legs' in there. Neither Schneiderlin or Pigfarmer have that.
So far the Utd squad is starting to look more Peter Reid than Pep Guardiola. 'Difficult to beat' but not special. If it works.
I'd rather face Scheiderlin than Van Persie any day of the week.
They are going to sign Leroy Fer and then their midfield trio will be Fer, Fernando, and Fernandinho. Be afraid.Fernandinho, Fernando and Toure have nothing to fear from a combination of Herrera, Carrick, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger? Yeah right.
