So a City fan spotted a guy walking past a SSN interview outside the Ethiad. It appeared in the initial shot he was wearing a United top (red sports top, Vodafone and Nike logo's) but no clear shot of the Utd logo.
Anyway, a few interviews later and the same dude appears talking about the Sterling deal wearing a City top.
Naturally, it went straight to Bluemoon and they tried their best to make it go viral, asking people to share it to blog sites etc
Some of the quotes are hilarious, saying SSN are corrupt and this level of deception is worse than the phone hacking scandal (they think SSN asked him to wear a City shirt so he could bad mouth Sterling)
They are laughing at how "obsessed" we must be yet this topic has currently provided 31 pages and counting of them calling us "rag cnuts"
They have now realised he is actually a City fan and he obviously changed into a non-red top for obvious reasons.

He won't be earning £20k, no way near. No denying he's stealing a living, but he'd only be earning about £1000 a week if he were to look for a move elsewhere. City will be paying him no more than £5k and I'd be surprised if it was even more than half that.

Its a terrible forum. RAWK has enough normal posters in amongst the weirdos to make it readable, but Bluemoon is just dross.

Bearing in mind some league 2 players are on way more than 1k a week, I'm not sure why you think a player with premier league experience wouldn't be on more than that?
I also think you'd be surprised. This is City, 5k a week would be madly cheap. I'd think more than double that.
I don't know what you perception of City is, but nobody just gives someone a high wage because they can. If Wright were to leave City, what would he earn? He's a 37 year old GK who hasn't had a season as a regular keeper at any level since the 08-09 season. League Two players paid £1,000 a week are expected to play regularly, Wright is there merely to train, help the other keepers and contribute towards the HG quota. If he left we'd just sign another old English keeper. He knows he's incredibly lucky to be at City. To think that they are paying him £10k + a week simply because we can is baffling.
I'd be interested what 3rd choice keepers at other clubs are paid.
Premier league youngsters will be on a pretty penny, which is why it's hard for clubs lower down to make it worth their while to stay.

City fans are mild compared to some of the demented souls that populate RAWK. I've found that many older City fans are quite sane and enjoy the rivalry that exists.

In real life, the City fans can be better than the Liverpool ones. However, on the forums Rawk is just deluded whereas Bluemoon is nasty and spiteful.
To most a choice between Barce and City would seem an obvious one. A bit like a choice between a Ferrari and a Passat. Not to the Bluemoon posters who've posted 1588 of this unlikely choice. And it seems to one poster there is a real motivation to sign for City over Barce. Because then he can reep revenge upon United. That and all their fake ITKs that are consistently wrong that they all believe. Apparently it's a done deal, like the Hazard one was, City even had a preseason friendly with Lille that was part of the payment plan for Hazard.

"Land them or not" what a pleb. I would agree, if they got Sterling, Pogba, de bryune and varane or something then sure, thats an outstanding summer for them. But they haven't, They have paid a small fortune for sterling, fair enough he's exactly what they need and i think he will be great for them, but that's all they have done. We've completely transformed 3 problem areas in our squad with top class additions. There really isn't any more to be said.
