Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

They seriously overrate their own midfield if they mention it in the same breath as Chelsea's. Their midfield is quality if Touré is up for it, but that certainly doesn't happen as frequently as a few season's ago anymore. Fernandinho and Fernando are nothing to write home about.

This thread needs stepping up. Rawk are doing a much better job at ripping them

In real life, the City fans can be better than the Liverpool ones. However, on the forums Rawk is just deluded whereas Bluemoon is nasty and spiteful.

Bluemoon, from what little I know of it, is intolerant of fans who don't express absolute hatred of United. The more moderate City fans are accused of being closet "rags" or some such nonsense. Maybe it's just me but the younger City fans I've heard calling us "Munichs" don't know much about the history of the two clubs. United has close links to City. For example, Matt Busby was a City player. Frank Swift, City's former goalie, died on the plane at Munich. United played European games at Maine Road because they had floodlights and we didn't. Denis Law signed twice for City. So many of our former players went there and a few of theirs came to us (Denis Law, Wyn Davies, and Peter Barnes to name but three).

Just reading through their United thread. Almost every post includes the words "rag cnuts" "rag twats" and "rag bastards".

How old are they?

I've always found the city fans I know in real life to be fairly sound when it comes to objective football opinions. But come Derby day, they're the biggest bunch of arseholes ever, and hostile with it. I'd take City fans over Liverpool fans any day despite it.

This 100%

Some on here have been talking up this guy as some kind of worldbeater. He's a nice solid player & that's it. If he was as good as some people say, then City would actually have been all over him long ago, as would Chelsea & Arsenal, at that kind of price. They're not, because he isn't that special, he's a nice solid player & nothing more.

I think both he & perhaps Pigsticker could be very good signings for Utd & make them very tough to play against in centre mid. But you can only play 11, & it means an injury prone ageing player & a not particularly inspiring one, taking up two spots. Then their star man, Felaini needs a place. Rooney, four. Two places left for creativity, or they have to start leaving out centre mids . As soon as you take out one of those 3 c mids, then you start asking the question of 'legs' in there. Neither Schneiderlin or Pigfarmer have that.

So far the Utd squad is starting to look more Peter Reid than Pep Guardiola. 'Difficult to beat' but not special. If it works.

I'd rather face Scheiderlin than Van Persie any day of the week.

They're fecking idiots, just read that, they have no idea what their on about. I'm so glad they're going to drop out of the top four this year.

Probably anywhere from 15-55, you have to say rag every second post to fit in there.

And if you see someone with an objective opinion and not 100% biased towards City then they are obviously a devious rag cnut and it is your duty to 'out' them.

They are going to have a disaster season sticking with Pellegrini. They only just about held it together in 2nd last year because we didnd't have enough to win our latter games and neither did Arsenal. Both of us have improved.

A player like Schneiderlin would have been good for them, a fresh younger player who does a quality job. Sterling will have some good moments for them but is just another ego into a team that really was held together by Sergio Aguero last year. It's only down to him that they are safe for a top 4 finish again this season, probably.

It's like that all the time, just don't get it.

Much as Liverpool, and Arsenal mostly hate us, at least they have a genuine conversation about it, City just aren't capable of doing this for some odd reason.

That is spot on, it's a ridiculous place to visit, but every time I want a smile I often take a trip over there, the inferiority complex they clearly have is quite amusing.

I can't see them dropping out of the top 4. Liverpool are weaker than they were last year and Spurs will be stuck in a battle with the likes of Everton, Stoke, Southampton and maybe even Palace or Newcastle for the 6-10 spots. If they don't invest well on their defence and midfield however, I can definitely see them dropping out of the top 3.

United, Arsenal and Chelsea will be strong this season.

Pretty much this. Can't see them improving with Yaya a year older and their general inability to play consistently well.

Worst forum about. As much as Rawk is bizarre and cultish, it has the usual forum ratio of regular humans to bitter horrible bastards (along with their unique batshit brigade), but bluemoon... practically every post suggests somebody breathing through heavily through their mouths while (ineffectually) punching their computer.

What's the best way to mock a ridiculous post? Ah, make one yourself!

Oh Bluemoon, please make your page containing 20 posts at least. very annoying whenever I bother to look at that forum to constantly having to click turn the page

Especially when I have to mute those damn ads everytime.
I don't even like the actual site, never mind the weird people who use it. RAWK is much better and less scary.

Yeah. Citeh will score goals and so will finish top 4. Silva's passing and Aguero's scoring basically ensure it if they're healthy. Toure and Sterling are good attackers as well. They'll lack the fullbacks and centre mid play to threaten in the CL or be dominant against other big teams, but I expect them to score enough goals to finish top 4 again too. Spurs and Liverpool and Southampton haven't significantly improved this window, either.

I think RedCafe has more sensible City fans than the whole of Bluemoon.

We've got more City fans than the whole of City.

Remember the game against West Brom? RvP and Rooney in midfield, Fellaini as a striker. Yuck.

One game in the last part of the season had a really crazy lineup that was extremely annoying, I'm thinking that's the one.

Were Rooney and Van Persie both playing behind the striker like I'm remembering? Perhaps Van Gaal would have said it was a three striker formation.

Yup, that's the one. It was mad because Fellaini is technically a midfielder and I remember watching RvP and Rooney playing long balls up to him, just thinking "Wtf".

When someone says "El Manchester" in Spanish, they mean United not City. Just for those who were wondering

Surprisingly big (and gleeful/annoyed) reaction to pointing out a linguistic quirk. "El Manchester".

Not really surprising that they can't fill a stadium down under, as they can't fill their own.. but Liverpool fans booing in a Roma-City game

Bluemoon
Was a good game against Roma. I really liked Sterling! Liverpool fans booing him when he first touched the ball but a nice goal to shut them up! I'll be heading to the Man City v Real Madrid match. Looking forward to a massive game with 95,0000+ people!

Same as with Real though, when people say Madrid they immediately think of Real.
