awful awful forum, is blue moon.
There having a go at you over on Bluemoon now @BobbyManc
If anyone on Bluemoon is still reading this, your gifs are shit.
It's okay Bobby, they're just annoyed that you talk sense.Just read that then some people can be so sensitive. I call the guy a bit of a muppet and apparently I'm being sycophantic. No, it's just if you post a shitty youtube video and some cryptic statement alleging to have inside information at the club, the natural conclusion I'm going to make is you're a bit of a needy twat.
Bunch of cnuts!
I think they want to hate United more than support their own team.I've always said that it is a worse place than RAWK. At least with RAWK it is just delusion. When it comes to Bluemoon, it is full of irrational hate and every other word amongst the average posts seems to be "rag" or "swamp". The hate they have for United is absolutely unreal on there, probably 90% of the forum is just dedicated to hating on United

I find this comment generally comes from United fans who haven't spent a great deal of time in Manchester (you may or may not have), there is definitely a lot of football hatred in the local areas which aren't always seen unless witnessed first hand. That said, most blues are generally just chuffed to be where we and still have to pinch ourselves that we've taken 2 titles in the past 4 years - to even be chasing the same players as Barcelona is just ridiculous for us - shifting mentality is hard.Possibly the most unrequited rivalry in English football. I'd predict most United fans don't give much of a stuff about City. They're probably just mad that they're not as significant to us as Liverpool are. Even Leeds United are probably hated more by United fans, and Leeds have been a complete non-entity for over a decade now.

As for Bluemoon, I find it's mixed depending what you're looking for - you have the threads that get very high post count that take up the majority of day to day posts/chatter and drift off topic a lot and tend not to add much value for quick updates, and then some really good debates around FFP, ongoings in the club and the surrounding areas which can be a joy to read. Same as any forum really.
@BobbyManc do you use that forum? I saw another BobbyManc there
Having lived in Manchester, it is very clear the hatred is pretty much one sided though. I use to do a lot of work with the City and borough Councils, GMP and other non-commercial organizations in Greater Manchester. Even on topics affecting the whole of Greater Manchester there was an imbalance from many Councillors and senior police officers about OT and its neighborhood. When talking about football matches in general, safety and timings if there had not been impartial attendees United would have been well shafted. Most of the Trafford Councillors were openly City fans and looked to give City some advantage over United in GM discussions.I find this comment generally comes from United fans who haven't spent a great deal of time in Manchester (you may or may not have), there is definitely a lot of football hatred in the local areas which aren't always seen unless witnessed first hand. De Bruyne won't be leaving. Allofs said he's not going anywhere and he's as straight as they come.I doubt it to be honest, they'll get Sterling no doubt but will pay crazy money for him, Pogba isn't joining,
De Bruyne I would doubt too, who really is there that they could get will really improve them, Delph, Fabhino, Hamsik etc certainly won't.
I have more posts over there as it goes, since around 2008 - but I've racked up 800+ since 2013 here so I'm not doing bad. Granted the majority of them were in the FFP thread over a year ago now. I just really enjoy discussing football, and there's only so much time you can spend in one place. But Red Cafes better, isn't it?
It's like the mocking is behind their backs, the whole world including Bluemoon can see it in daylight and of course they can countermock, don't think it's petty at allAm i right in thinking there are members that spend their time on other forums just to find a post they can take back and ridicule? That, to me sounds as petty as what we accuse them of, no?

Yeah, the hatred is one sided.I grew up and lived in Manchester until high school, when I moved to West Yorkshire with my parents, but most of my family are Manchester based and Manchester born, so I was there a lot after that. I've always thought the hatred was a little one sided. Especially growing up there in the early 90s, the hatred from United fans seemed to be focused on Liverpool and Leeds United, even at my school, where reds and blues seemed to be a 60/40 split in Uniteds favour. When I moved to Yorkshire and went to a school where Leeds United fans were the majority, there was definitely a shift in hatred. To me it seemed like Leeds fans hated us more than City fans did at that time, and that was probably reciprocated. Leeds were closer to being a threat on the pitch as well.
Now I live 300+ miles north, so I don't know what the tension is like between the two sets of supporters, and I don't know if it has shifted since City's takeover and recent successes. I'd still predict United fans have more animosity towards Liverpool though. A lot of fans here wanted City to win the title, when it looked like Liverpool had all but sealed it. I can't see that situation ever being reversed.
Generally, yeah. I've lived in Manchester for 8 years and although I've come to dislike them a lot more since they have become genuine rivals, I was pretty pleased that they beat Liverpool to the title the season before last.Yeah, the hatred is one sided.
Was it against Utd live on TV where they lost and decided to take it out on a couple of East Asian fans who were repeatedly caught by the cameras sitting in the front row somewhere near the half line without the uniform City scowl of year on year bitterness? I think they secretly miss those years and they don't know where to put themselves half the time and in part it explains their terrible terrible home game turnout rate.Just had a quick look on their site to see what the fuss was about, and by god they are some horrible, horrible cretins on that site.

Just a moment ago he was 'vastly underrated' and 'exactly what we need' and now 'thank God we are not signing him' or 'how do you know we were interested in him?'.
Txiki is a cnut, accept it or not.
it's not the fact he isn't joining, but the fact we got turned down by Delph (who really cares, he's nothing special) when the deal was practically done. That's shambolic and 3 years worth of banter for others.
At least they can sign other major players now they have saved 8milI never really rated this guy as more than a useful squad addition but for £8m and given he's HG probably well worth a punt.
The problem is I think the penny has dropped with Delph that's exactly how the club also viewed him.
I'm a bit pissed off but at least it's £8m more to play with for the other, major targets.

Lets hijack the Schneiderlin deal to save some face haha
Haha that is hilarious. We couldn't tempt Steve Bruce into Greggs this summer
And the fact that this nonsense is self perpetuating. Delph, like Milner, is a gutless fecking cnut as far as I'm concerned, but the media will now go all out to scare all English players into not signing for us. I'm fecking sick to my stomach, not because some two bit non-entity from Aston Villa has bottled coming to us, but because those lying cnuts in the press can smear us like this
