Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

It really is funny watching their Pogba thread over there, it's so similar to our Vidal thread last summer and the Wesley thread I'd assume of the past.

The Italian media with their bids being prepared, bids gone in, bids rejected and Juve wanting more. Then you have the agent is pressing for it, then another bid is being prepared and gone in....... it's the same fecking circle we went in last season.

Just funny watching it happen to someone else.

Except it's not going to be to funny when they sign him for a stupid amount and the fact for some reason we aren't making moves to bring him back.

The Pogba to City rumors don't worry me, mainly because I don't think there is anything to them. I agree with VanGaalEra in that I think it's inevitable that he ends up in Spain.

That thread really has the potential to be wonderful reading as most truely believe they will get him, personally I just can't see it at all.

Some poster said they'll look a laughing stock if they don't sign him, others think it's only a matter of time, and my personal favourite was from someone who said that now City are completly free from FFP (are they?) that only Barca, and Madrid where more appealing to targets than themselves.

He's not worth anywhere near the price they want. I don't want to sign him.

I'm sure City would like Pogba, and they could probably stretch their budget to sign him along with the other players they need but i just can't see Pogba wanting to go there when he has options in Paris, Madrid and Barcelona why would he?

He's Barca or Real bound this year or next i doubt United let alone City have a chance of signing him.

From CL runners up to European no marks. Yeah, I can see him make that step up.
Yep, there's no chance.

The guy is incredibly ambitious and believes in his own ability. A move to City would be a massive downgrade and no amount of money would change his mind. He may as well stay at Juve until Barca or Real do come in for him.

We do have the 'not in London' things for some players. They have the 'not in London' thing, and also the 'not Manchester United' thing to contend with.
:D

It's incredible that they believe they are even in the same bracket of appeal, to Barcelona or Madrid.

The better question would be why they´d pay €114M for Pogba. That´s just silly money. You can buy Vidal, Gundogan and Sterling for that kind of money.

How is he not worth these sums? To say that with any notion of fact you would have to know how the future pans out.
I think a large percentage of fans saying this are taking into account he played for us previously and we lost him on a free. If Chelsea get Pogba, we are not competing with them with a Vidal or someone similar for any meaningful length of time its that simple. They are already ahead of the curve!

If Raiola's high-profile clients are anything to go by, Pogba would be off once he's wanted in Spain anyway. They wouldn't be getting much more out him than we'd get out of Vidal.

I actually thought I was alone in thinking this.

As talented as Pogba is, he is worth nowhere near the £80m that Juve as asking. That is Ronaldo/Zidane/Suarez money.. aka only proven, world-class game changers can command that amount. Perhaps one day he will be in that category, but he is not there yet.

I will go as far to say that Verratti is a better prospect that Pogba currently and if we are going to spend over £50M on a CM, i would not mind if we bid big for him.

Yeah exactly mate it just doesn't make sense from any angle that Pogba would go to City. I'm sure they could afford him at a stretch but the money would be better spent on their defence and other areas.

It wouldn't surprise me if he went to City in all honesty. I don't think Barca will splash out on him after spending so much on Suarez last year. I don't think Madrid need him or that they are really interested. PSG would be a poor decision for his career imo, he would be stepping down from Juve if he went there. I do think City have a chance if they put in the right bid and contract offer (they can afford it). Their owners need to do something big for next season if they want silverware and Pogba is the one who can improve them a lot. I also believe Pogba may have a slight bit of vindictiveness in him regarding United.

I hope I'm wrong but I just can't see him playing in Spain for some reason.

He is not worth the money quoted. I say that with certainty. It is a fact.

I believe Pogba wants Barca and Barca want Pogba. City can keep dreaming.

I doubt it. They´ll probably sign Vidal and Gundogan for a combined €45M instead of Pogba for €114M. €114M. You might as well wait and see whether Pogba can live up to that transfer fee and then pay it in two years. Cause there is no way in hell, he´ll cost more than that in two years.

Had a quick look on Bluemoon to see their reaction to the recent Ramos news:
Surely even Ramos has too much self-respect than to join that shower of degenerate shitheads?
Bit of a sly, scheming, scummy sort of defender.

Will suit them down to the ground.
This,he comes across as a cnut,so will fit in with the rest of them at the shithole..
Ramos has no interest in joining United. None. He's got no interest in leaving Real. What he does have an interest in is negotiating a new contract with Real, and he's using United as a scare tactic for Real in order to get what he wants. If United still had Gill and Ferguson they'd realise what Ramos is up to, but Woodward is clueless and genuinely believes Ramos is going to arrive. It's quite amusing to watch really.
Man City are on the verge of moving ahead of Man United in the race to sign Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. (Source: Daily Mirror)
Yes please! Aren't the mirror good on city info now?
Just shows Ronaldo's so called "love" for the rags, when he's ringing Ramos telling him "NOT" to go to the swamp.
If the rags are desperate enough to spend nearly 30 million on a 29 year old it shows exactly where they are
(didn't they splash £30m on Fernandinho? I'm sure many more examples)
ahh well with depay , Schneiderlin & ramos if he isn't acting out for a better contract with RM , the rags could possibly have a good window FFS
If we get Pogba, Sterling and De Bruyne a simple 'that's cute' will suffice in response.

I wouldn't want any of that three, so for me it's a good window.

That place is a goldmine:lol:

This might actually be the truth tbh.

I think it describes the situation perfectly, Ramos maybe saw the opportunity with us when we were going after Bale, Benzema, and Varane earlier on.

It's all a game, LvG will put a stop to it soon enough , and hopefully tell them to feck off and forget about getting DDG.

This might actually be the truth tbh.

I think it's probably a bit too much to say he has no interest in joining us, even if he'd immediately sign a deal with Madrid if they gave him what he wants financially. There's no reason for him to say it's us or him, really. His agent would be talking up multiple teams as options otherwise. It might be like when Keane was considering leaving and if he did wanted only to go to Bayern or Juve.

Opinions are like assholes and they have an awful lot of assholes. They can say or think what they like but Ramos gave them the middle finger. Even if he was using us? It's cause we're bigger, better and city are not big enough to be realistic

This might actually be the truth tbh.

So some incredibly clever people on an internet forum can see through Ramos's ruse, but the Vice-chairman, who speaks personally with the player and his representatives, and who has seen dozens of other players try and use United to get better contracts, is completely clueless and hasn't seen it coming?

Didn't see it coming for alves.

Was mentioned when he re-signed that he was a target and that we had touched base with his agent. It doesn't take an incredibly clever person to realise that there is a legitimate chance that Ramos is doing this to scare madrid into an higher paid extension. I never said the statement was 100% correct, I said it "might" have some truth into it, and I stand by that.

Yes Ramos may be angry at madrid and may want to leave but money works in very mysterious ways and can be persuasive. Maybe that is working in our favour.

Not according to spanish based journos
They could have been fooled by him, same as us.

He may actually want to leave, then he may actually be offered a fat contract and he may actually stay. Those journo's talking about him wanted to leave means nothing at this stage, when concrete reports of madrid accepting a bid come through then I'll bite.

For now that bluemoon knob was on the money, he could be taking us all for a circle jerk to get a better payday.

What has actually been said by his camp? and what proof do we have that we have actually talked to him or his representative? One source comes out and says that his brother told them that he has asked the club to leave and another get a woman presumably his mother to say that he is staying at RM. The second is more believable because it was a live statement on tv while the first was a behind closed doors conversation.

Paper talk is just that paper talk. We will never know if we ever in for him unless we here either LVG or Ed confirm the story in a live interview. That is why I never get disenchanted by the ones that got away because we don't know if we were ever in for them.

We definitely want and think we can get him, woody briefed his men.

That's why we look stupid if he extends, I said this in another thread and got blasted. I agree with you most of the paper talk is junk.

How do you know that though? Unless we are told by an official club representative how can you be so certain?

He's not worth anywhere near the price they want. I don't want to sign him.

I think many here just want to sign him because they still see us letting him go as a mistake and don't want to see him play for another team. Things like the money involved or other players possibly being better are not as important as making up for letting him go.

This might actually be the truth tbh.

It's funny how they suddenly started to respect Gill and SAF after they left. It's almost like they'll believe anything if it makes them feel like we're declining.

The moment they realised Pogba is not joining them.... After 800+ pages though.

Football is as crooked as the day is long

When they think they'll sign him: 'we'll get him because we have the money.'
When they don't: 'Football is corrupt!'

We are as usual the innocent victim
(His location was "The Barcelona of the North")

We should buy who the F*ck we want for however much they want and f*ck Europe off. Get the ADG to fund its own super competition, one that might not be so completely and utterly bent!

That was one page and their pages are 10 posts long. It's like RAWK but less humour, increased delusion and a generous helping of people who can't think 4 words without one of them being swamp, rag, c*nts or sh!t.

They're back to believing he's coming because one of their guys, who seems like he's some sort of Demi God on there, has said Pogba and his agent want city.
