Just because it is something you do not want to hear does not make it a WUM. I brought up City's failings at the highest level in the CL to highlight how there should be no excuses against such a team as they are very much beatable. I brought up City's recent record of wins vs United to show that City know how to win these games and that last weekend was not a one-off or a fluke.

Pretty much agree with this, there are a lot of over rated players in the modern game and sadly people throw the words "world class" or "great player" around to players who may be very good players but not even close to the greats of the game.

Not Bluemoon but I read on facebook the other day about one intelligent city fan saying how Rooney is only good at granny shagging just before the derby game. If you go by that logic since Rooney is the top scorer in Manchester derbies than playing against city would surely mean shagging a granny of something?

Well having players salaries and transfer fees marked under a different entity which is directly owned by your club who play at different times of the year and have already loaned you one of their two star players who plans on staying aslong as possible is kind of a bit of a loop-hole, and looks that way so far.
Of course there is a huge business oppertunity for your owners but also a huge oppertunity for them to get around UEFA regulations via continuing to recruit european players who need to stay fit in the off season at your club, and in this case help your team in the process to win trophies and make more revenue

City are paying the wages. It doesn't make any difference regards FFP whether he is contracted to NYCFC or City because at the end of each month whatever he earns is going to show up on City's accounts, and not NYCFC's.
It's just daft to think the best method City's owners could come up with to get round FFP was to establish an MLS team at significant costs that can only really attract big names with their peak years way behind them. I'll happily bet in the future City very rarely loan any designated players from NYCFC, and if we do, we will have to pay their wages.
No UEFA rules are being circumnavigated. City are paying his wages. If we weren't, at least your theory would have some credence. But as it stands, it's an insane theory.

Plenty of business have done it in the past, and its a really smart move, to set up other companies under a different name and sign assests over to them, and appears on a different balance sheet, so im not saying its a bad move for you guys but a really smart one if you pull it off, because you have all the money to spend in the world but restrictions to how much you can spend

For all this to be true, one factor you have to assume is that New York Yankees are complicit in City's scheme. Would they invest $20 million to help City avoid FFP regulations?
