Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Hmm. Little bit wummy dragging up irrelevancies such as United's recent historical record against City and their uselessness in Europe as a barometer of United's quality. Especially pre-Moyes.
Just because it is something you do not want to hear does not make it a WUM. I brought up City's failings at the highest level in the CL to highlight how there should be no excuses against such a team as they are very much beatable. I brought up City's recent record of wins vs United to show that City know how to win these games and that last weekend was not a one-off or a fluke.

I thought this was a meltdown thread ... ? Yet you have a load of non city and city fans in here defending them!! Take that malarkey to the official City thread, I'm sure there's one somewhere in the FF.

My point is the term World Class gets over used so much these days that its now become meaningless. Komapny is far from World Class, his name won’t come up when people talk about the greatest CB’s to play in the Premiership let alone the game.

Is he a good player? Yes, is he one of the best to play in the Premiership? Hell no. Is he overrated? Of course he is.
As for calling him a brilliant defender, no, he’s very good but in no way would he have played in front of players like Vidic, Rio, Stam, John Terry, Sol Campbell or Tony Adams to name but a few.
Pretty much agree with this, there are a lot of over rated players in the modern game and sadly people throw the words "world class" or "great player" around to players who may be very good players but not even close to the greats of the game.

Oh, no, I don't mind hearing stuff if it makes sense and is revelant to the point.

Who said it was a one-off fluke? Not me. Nor is it an indicator of United's overall quality, as you were attempting to assert with the irrelevant CL stats.

Deservedly down to ten men so I do not see what your point is. The rules were applied properly. United are not so special that they are above having a man sent off. You were struggling with their attacks and hence why Smalling had to foul and why they had so many penalty shouts.

I am not a City fan. As for the penalty claims when you were down to ten men, what is your point? You were deservedly down to ten men and one of them was definitely a penalty. The fact is that you are making excuses for not being able to beat a team that regularly gets knocked out in the group stage of the CL (going out in three of the last four seasons) and loses to the likes of CSKA Moscow and Ajax and Napoli. City are not a great team by any stretch, but once again they have come out on top vs United (like they have in 6 of the last 7 encounters, racking up some very heavy scorelines along the way). You should have no problem beating such a team and the fact you have to make excuses for not being able to beat them is worrying.

Where did all that come from you made points that are wrong I.e penalty claims when 11 v 11 I only asked the question. You seem an angry man I will leave it at that.

Yeah, playing in the competition your squad couldn't qualify for.

Please, think before you type
You's might as well not bother because you's are actually really rubbish in Europe, so not much of a slagging when your own team does all the hard work to qualify only to crumble completely and nose dive straight out of the competition.

GIMME MELTDOWNS.

It's harder to get stuff off Bluemoon than it is RAWK.The site is worse IMO and it replaces the charming delusion of a failed writer (RAWK) with the constant swearing of a scrawny 12 year old trying to look hard.

I found a few that I think typify the site.

From their 53 page "How thick is Rio Ferdinand" thread:
rag w**ker

Tweet that you rag camel gobbed f**k!

The camel face tw*t predicted an away win yesterday. No class what so ever and shows now rationality. A f***ing special case.

On Rooney:
Just a fat granny sh**ger!

Looking forward to a Gascoigne style decline once he finishes playing.

On Paddy Crerand:
Just watched the full game on Man-ure TV and I've never heard as much vitriolic bias as that spouted from the gobshite that is Paddy Crerand! Their match commentator Stewart Gardner on the other hand seemed fair and level headed, but when curly wig head Ronald Failaini McDonald stuck his size 12 clown shoe out on our Sergio in the box for what was an obvious penalty, Paddy quipped "Aguero should of been booked for that dive!"

And they call us bitters!

Got my hopes up then when I saw his name...

There has been that many rip threads lately, i was hoping.......

Got my hopes up too, but one can live in hope, no body would leave condolence messages for the sad Rag ignoramus.

All those * were me. I have a feeling we wouldn't get away with as much as they would.

Btw, in my 10 minute search through their site (and it really did just take 10 minutes to find all those), I saw us referred to as the c**ts, the rags, MANUre and the scum. With OT referred to as the Swamp. They are in a ongoing meltdown. Win or lose they're just a angry, sad shower of idiots.

I know what they are like, I just want some meltdowns/

Not Bluemoon but I read on facebook the other day about one intelligent city fan saying how Rooney is only good at granny shagging just before the derby game. If you go by that logic since Rooney is the top scorer in Manchester derbies than playing against city would surely mean shagging a granny of something?

Some really depressed bunch of obnoxious and obsessive thick heads they've got there...

Fair enough but you'll have to look yourself. Those ten minutes already exceeded my safe dose of Bluemoon garbage for this month. I need to go lie down.

If you do go, make sure you don't go alone (in case you feint or get lost) and bring the necessary equipment.

But he's biased as a United employee on the clubs own channel, it's not like he's a pundit on SKY (Mr Sourness take note)
He is biased however given that it's on MUTV I don't see why anyone would be taking umbrage with it.

What is a City fan doing subscribing to MUTV?

They were asking that too. I only managed the first few pages but there seems to be an ongoing investigation as to whether or not that OP is an undercover rag. Which would of course result in a ban, although only after they torture him to find out the extent of the infiltration.

So with Agueros injury, is this the part where they magically get David Villa on loan and prove that the whole NYCFC joint venture was for this reason alone and to dodge financial fair play?

Yeah, NYCFC was set up solely to dodge FFP. We've even managed to get the New York Yankees to invest a sizeable sum in to our little self-serving scam as well! All those hundreds of millions spent to land us Frank Lampard and David Villa on loan! feck FFP!

Well having players salaries and transfer fees marked under a different entity which is directly owned by your club who play at different times of the year and have already loaned you one of their two star players who plans on staying aslong as possible is kind of a bit of a loop-hole, and looks that way so far.

Of course there is a huge business oppertunity for your owners but also a huge oppertunity for them to get around UEFA regulations via continuing to recruit european players who need to stay fit in the off season at your club, and in this case help your team in the process to win trophies and make more revenue

One out of two players. Great sample size there. Really tells you a lot.

City are paying the wages. It doesn't make any difference regards FFP whether he is contracted to NYCFC or City because at the end of each month whatever he earns is going to show up on City's accounts, and not NYCFC's.

It's just daft to think the best method City's owners could come up with to get round FFP was to establish an MLS team at significant costs that can only really attract big names with their peak years way behind them. I'll happily bet in the future City very rarely loan any designated players from NYCFC, and if we do, we will have to pay their wages.

No UEFA rules are being circumnavigated. City are paying his wages. If we weren't, at least your theory would have some credence. But as it stands, it's an insane theory.

Well you only have 6 players contracted to NYCFC correct?

And in regards to it not making a difference, Manchester Citys entities would be different from that of New Yorks, as UEFA's financial fair play policy only applys to european clubs entering european competitions if im not mistaken? Plenty of business have done it in the past, and its a really smart move, to set up other companies under a different name and sign assests over to them, and appears on a different balance sheet, so im not saying its a bad move for you guys but a really smart one if you pull it off, because you have all the money to spend in the world but restrictions to how much you can spend

You are paying his wages, but under the name of NYCFC I would imagine

And to think players like Villa, Lampard and the rumour of Xavi could not step in and help when needed is naive, I mean these guys are still great players, If you pull it off fair play

Should be banned from football!

Purely on the basis that they are awful, even though they've spent millions!

A dreadful team....Amazing how ordinary they look at times

Stop. Think about what you're typing.

City are paying his wages. That money is going to NYCFC and out of City's accounts. That will show up on our records. It is the same as any other loan deal. UEFA do actually have rules in place to prevent what you are accusing City of. It is a ridiculous theory.

For all this to be true, one factor you have to assume is that New York Yankees are complicit in City's scheme. Would they invest $20 million to help City avoid FFP regulations?

Definitely up there with the best posts I've seen in my time on this forum. Well done mate.
