This. If Bernardo is coming, I would prefer someone like Belotti or Icardi or even Andre Silva to provide the physical aspects as well as deadly finishing of a striker. I honestly think Belotti is going to reach the levels of Lewandowski/Suarez. But, if Griezmann comes, I would want us to get a fast, skillful player like Douglas Costa/ Lucas Moura/ Felipe Anderson(who after an average last season, has had a very good season this year) to provide width, pace and creativity on the right side.
If the price quoted is correct I'd assume plenty of martial style add ons since 50m euros is a snip for a player of that quality. This guy would improve us immeasureably. If we got griezmann or another top striker and possibly a holding midfielder as well we'd be challenging again.

He's still 22...Januzaj is also 22. The gap between them is huge, and like others said he is yet to reach his ceiling. He would be perfect player to carve up teams who park the bus at Old Trafford, that's out biggest issue at the moment.

I think between them Rashford and Martial should be given the chance to sow up the no 9 role for us. Give them a couple of seasons and add some more firepower behind them. I really wouldn't want us to sign another pure striker at this point.
Neither. He's quite fast but not Walcott fast. Pace wise he'd be one of the best in our current team, and it's not only about the acceleration - he's fast with the ball too.

I love Bernardo Silva and would be very happy with this player at United, but it's not the type of player the team most needs. It's more of buying a great talent before he goes to a rival. For what I seen on tv, he has played in France with a lot of space, but I think he'll be very good in tight spaces too, for when teams park the bus at Old Trafford, for instance, like Mata's also useful.
Yeah, it's just that some players don't care to run that much when they don't have the ball, Mkhitaryan being a clear example.
Or maybe because Mata would prefer to be a starter throughout the prime of his career instead of a squaddie...but you know don't you?
I am very sure its him or griez, we must be talking to both and seeing where we finish we will try and get either one. Champions league and huge salary will mean griez comes in, no champions league and i think silva will be chased hard.

Watching several highlight clips there is no way he is faster, with or without the ball than Rashford or Martial. The guy beats people one on one by wrong footing them (good skill) but does not look at all fast.
Wouldn't mind signing him at all. In fact I hope we are in for him, but personally my preference would be Mbappe. We can't sign them all unfortunately.
With Ibra and Rooney soon leaving, do you seriously believe Mourinho is going to start the next season with only Martial and Rashford as his main strikers? It shouldn't be that way at any club which wants to be a serious title contender and be fighting on all fronts. We need at least another prolific striker on whom Mourinho can rely. Belotti fits the bill perfectly and suits Jose's tactics to a T.

Except most people that want him, myself included, have been following Monaco domestically and in the CL this season. So it's not a case of basing our opinion on YouTube at all.
Martial had the total of one complete game as striker for us this season, plus 30' in a cup game.

The idea that someone can be faster with the ball than without it is complete nonsense. Everyone slows down when they have to control a football while running.
This guy is nothing like Kaka tbh. I think his style of play resembles Iniesta a lot more, which is why I'm annoyed that you guys are getting him. This is exactly the kind of player that we need, yet we aren't even linked to him.
