I think Bernardo is yet to hit his ceiling. Quite a plenty room for further improvement.
Oh yes, definitely!

There might be something we are not aware of...
Andrea Bellotti.
Think Drogba or Lewandowski. A pure breed target man. A number 9 in the real sense of it.
Strong lad, quick, packs a good shot, great in the air plus a good enough balance to be a baller. Very dangerous in the box. He's young and he plays for Torino meaning whether we qualify for CL or not, won't matter much to him at the moment.
Griezmann is not a pure breed number nine. He is more versatile and has already hit the highest heights of the game hence, the appeal for him is understandable. But Andrea Bellotti is as good as you get if you want a younger, cheaper, hungry and deadly pure breed striker. Jose seems to like such target men.
Think he used to post here. He's so good.
He's like a Januzaj who fullfilled all his potential.
He's still 22...Januzaj is also 22. The gap between them is huge, and like others said he is yet to reach his ceiling. He would be perfect player to carve up teams who park the bus at Old Trafford, that's out biggest issue at the moment.
This. If Bernardo is coming, I would prefer someone like Belotti or Icardi or even Andre Silva to provide the physical aspects as well as deadly finishing of a striker. I honestly think Belotti is going to reach the levels of Lewandowski/Suarez. But, if Griezmann comes, I would want us to get a fast, skillful player like Douglas Costa/ Lucas Moura/ Felipe Anderson(who after an average last season, has had a very good season this year) to provide width, pace and creativity on the right side.
Neither. He's quite fast but not Walcott fast. Pace wise he'd be one of the best in our current team, and it's not only about the acceleration - he's fast with the ball too.Can someone give me a definitive answer on whether he is fast or not? Can't work out if he's David silva pace or prime messi pace

Yeah he looks almost kaka-esque, faster with the ball than without

Kaka was fast without the ball too! Ever seen the clip of him burning Messi?
We need two players to replace Ibra and Rooney, there is no need to sell any one else.
That was with the ball. Messi is also faster with the ball
Yeah, it's just that some players don't care to run that much when they don't have the ball, Mkhitaryan being a clear example. That makes no sense, everyone is slower when they have to control a ball.
Or maybe because Mata would prefer to be a starter throughout the prime of his career instead of a squaddie...but you know don't you?But but Mata has to leave because......because.. feck Mata thats why!

With Ibra and Rooney soon leaving, do you seriously believe Mourinho is going to start the next season with only Martial and Rashford as his main strikers? It shouldn't be that way at any club which wants to be a serious title contender and be fighting on all fronts. We need at least another prolific striker on whom Mourinho can rely. Belotti fits the bill perfectly and suits Jose's tactics to a T.I think between them Rashford and Martial should be given the chance to sow up the no 9 role for us. Give them a couple of seasons and add some more firepower behind them. I really wouldn't want us to sign another pure striker at this point.
Think he used to post here.
Looking at Silva I don't see anything that special. Feel free to call me out but he strikes me as the latest YouTube generation flavour of the week.
Like Feghouli or a million other expansive, tricky wingers that look good on highlight reels.
Martial had the total of one complete game as striker for us this season, plus 30' in a cup game. With Ibra and Rooney soon leaving, do you seriously believe Mourinho is going to start the next season with only Martial and Rashford as his main strikers? You're the one that hasn't watched him.Looking at Silva I don't see anything that special. Feel free to call me out but he strikes me as the latest YouTube generation flavour of the week.

Watch the sprint at 2:14Yeah he looks almost kaka-esque, faster with the ball than without
There's nothing concrete to suggest so, actually. I do agree he'd be pretty fantastic for you. (I think Isco would be even better, but that would never happen)This guy is nothing like Kaka tbh. I think his style of play resembles Iniesta a lot more, which is why I'm annoyed that you guys are getting him. This is exactly the kind of player that we need, yet we aren't even linked to him.
This is because you've only watched Youtube highlights or the odd CL game.Looking at Silva I don't see anything that special. Feel free to call me out but he strikes me as the latest YouTube generation flavour of the week.

Just seen this one too which focuses on his dribbling. What a player...
