Wasn't that impressed against Dortmund and City in the CL but then again his potential quality was obvious. He seems to be a very down to earth guy also with a top mentality.
I don't think they're very similar. He seems far more like a David Silva, Iniesta or Isco type of player - incredible close control, great dribbling ability and is generally more of a player to create chances a little deeper/more in terms of general play -- as opposed to Mata and Mkhitaryan who are far more final third, making the final pass or the final shot type of attackers.
Bernardo Silva and Griezmann both in the summer would on paper put us up there with the best, given we mirror the calibre of signings else where in the team.
I really hope this happens. He'd be great for us.
Bernardo Silva. Baller. I think this guy would be a game changer. Reminds me David Silva. Clever and silky on the ball. Threads through balls for fun. Would create so many chances for us. This is one player we'll regret not landing. Difficult transfer but whoever gets him will have a hell of a player

Mata and Mkhitaryan are goalscorers rather than creators. Bernardo Silva can operate across the front three. I see him has a creator someone who will give us more assists and more of an ability to create better chances.
Bernando would take our football to another level. He'd improve everyone around him with his movement and range of passing.
This would be £42 million...current sum we paid for Martial is £44 or so (with the goal he scored on weekend to activate that 10 million euros clause). Martial could reach 10 million euros more if he gets shortlisted for ballon d'or. So in general it's similar sums...
To add, if we get him I find it less likely we'll go for Griezmann...I would be all up for getting Bernardo though if it means we will go for one more attacker. Only 22, 4 years younger than Griezmann and cheaper. He would add that penetration and creativity we missed from the right side or as #10...would be immense.
Yes please. While Griezmann is probably the bigger more established talent right now, and maybe fills more of a direct need with his goalscoring and movement, I can't help but feel we'd run into problems trying to fit both him and Pogba into the team in a way that gets the most out of both players. Silva + a more traditional striker would be much easier to fit into the team without having to plug square pegs into round holes.
We definitely need someone with a bit more guile and creativity in attacking areas, as well as a new centre-forward obviously.
He is but he is much faster than Mata and can actually go past the player on the wing. Only thing that Mata has over him is finishing, but then again Silva has Mbappe and Falcao to score and wasn't getting at the end of actions like Mata, he is more of a creator, amazing one at that. As for other things...better ball control (his best trait), much faster, better dribbling...and 7 years younger than Mata.

He can do the whole lot in attack. He's really creative and plays passes that 99% of players wouldn't see. Not only that but he's unbelievably difficult to dispossess and can take people on for fun. He even works tirelessly off the ball and is good positionally.
Rashford, Martial, Griezmann, Bernardo Silva and Mkhi...5 players for 4 attacking slots would be amazing to have.
Don't forget Lingard, and I suspect we will either keep Mata or add another as 6 for 4 places isn't enough depth.

What if Jose doesn't see him as an attacking player but more of a midfielder? Silva could be his Modric, and honestly would be the perfect compliment on the right side to pogba' s left With Ander/fellani/ new cdm doing the dirty work.
So, you see us move to a 433? That's an idea, he would fit that role well but Lemar is in my opinion more suited to that role and probably as good as Bernardo, he is also having his third very good season unlike Bernardo who had a blip last year.
I think we are going to play a 4-4-2ish setup.

Ye except if that is how we are going to play people are probably going to moan about us playing defensive boring football and that is not the United way etc. But fact is in the SAF era we played more like Atletico do now than we how we are actually playing now under Mourinho. The way we play now is more like how Arsenal plays.
Him and Fabinho would not only make us significantly stronger, it would also be the two players the most suited to Guardilola's plan for City.

After buying some Raiola players last summer, now is Jorge Mendes' time to make some money. Fabinho is also a Mendes client, lets get them both
Fabinho has also said he wants to play for us, so it's a no brainer really. Ideally I would buy 3 Monaco players. Mbappe, Silva, Fabinho. Not sure they'll be happy with that though
Silva, Greizmann, plus another striker would be amazing and would take us to the next level. Sell Mata and Rooney, let Zlatan leave, and that creates room in the squad and frees up significant wages to make it feasible.
We have room for 3 players in this squad currently with Depay, Schneiderlin and Schweinstieger gone. Rooney leaving will add a fourth slot. They should be no need to sale Mata even if we add players to our ranks.

Never a rightback, always a #10 or #8, sometimes #7 in Benfica's youngster teams. Actually, he was a late bloomer, mainly due to his lack of physicality, but for a while now people were expecting a world best from him. Only the manager Jesus had something against him and R.Sanches, which didn't allow them to play for Benfica's first team while he was there, which was a real shame.
