He moves with such grace, I'm not sure about his stats but aesthetically speaking he's incredible. Reminds me of David Silva.

Really hope this isn't the guy that played for Benfica and at the U21 Euro Champs in 2015. He was in England's group and looked absolutely exceptional, a younger cut out of David Silva, totally bossed the midfield with Carvalho against us, and so obviously - obviously - going to be a great player.

Allow me to say I don't understand the big English clubs' scouting policies at all.
It's him all right. Entertaining player to watch.

If we can get him for around 40 million, which I doubt btw, both him and Griezmann could be a possibility to improve our attack even further. We aren't the best when pressed and this guy looks to thrive when pressed.

Wouldn't be surprised if he went to one of the London clubs though, or even Barca.

It's quite obvious he's a future top5 player.

Where will he go? Chelsea, City, Bayern or maybe even us IMO.

All the big teams will be in for him. We'd have to get CL football to be in with a chance of landing him. I think Real Madrid tho.

40m seems slim particularly since Boschilia's injury. When it comes to Monaco people need to remember that they are tied by the FFP and that tie forces them to look for cheap players, so the timing of the offers will play a big part in the actual price, the sooner Bernardo is sold the sooner Monaco can bring the "bargains", the rumor talks about Nicolas Pépé.

You guys are also forgetting that Monaco has to take a reasonable risk in these kids (they might not progress as expected) and they are in a league and position where they can given them a reasonable chance to develop.

Even if you could see Bernardo Silva might be the next big thing 3 years ago, a premature move to Real Madrid might have been catastrophic for his career and a waste of money by Real Madrid. It's not always reasonable to expect that the first destination for young players of talent should be a big club with high expectations. Monaco can offer something we (Man Utd) can't. An environment with less pressure and scrutiny and more game starts

Doesn't score as many goals as Griezmann, but I wonder if this guy would be better for us since we can keep Mkhitaryan as the #10 who links the midfield and attack.

I mean we need players that score goals.

Couldn't help think of him while our players were making a prat of themselves trying to dispossess Eden Hazard he other night. Silva, while not quite as explosive, certainly has that level of supreme close dribbling ability that makes him so hard to dispossess.

I hope we see a master show from him tonight

I think if he puts on a good show and Monaco go through or even if they dont, i hink he will earn himself a great transfer. One of my favourite players to watch., just enjoy his playing style. Now look at him having the worst game of his career:lol:

As per Le equipe we have a first refusal on him as part of Martial deal.

Hopefully that's true.
With his Portugese connection to Jose and having a previous Monaco teammate in Martial, plus a sizeable wage can turn us into a favourable destination over all other potential suitors.

If he is this good at 22, he could turn into one of the top attacking midfielders of next decade. We just can't pass up on him because we have Mata and Mkhi for now. Both are closer to 30 and may not be here for longer than 3-4 seasons.

Pay up Woody.

Think he is our fallback from Griezmann. Say we get CL, we put in a bid for griezmann and he cant decide or athletico play hardball. Then we go in for him. Scenario2 may see us not getting CL and still signing Silva as Griezmann wont come without CL.

I would love a summer of Silva, Bellotti, Kessie, Defender. If shaw leaves then Semedo also.
I think Darmian, Rooney,Bastian, Fellaini, Carrick will all leave. Freeing up huge huge wages and some transfer money too, especially if we sell shaw.

And speaking to the Times, he did not immediately quell interest from England. He said: “Yes I heard the reports.

“I have no idea if it’s true or not. Of course it’s nice to be associated with that kind of club but I haven’t thought a lot about it

He gave an interview to The times i think.

And it was Le10 sport. Dont know about their credibility.

Le 10sport aren't credible, they invent pretty much everything.

What's Shaw got to do with Semedo? The play on the opposite sides don't they.

I suspect this thread will get a fair bit of traffic later on.

Yep. See this excitement brewing to watch him play, this it's what we need at Old Trafford. All the supporters would love this guy.

He's very, very good isn't he?

I'm not convinced he's what we need though. We've got too many players who want to get on the ball and create and not enough that want to run behind and get on the ball.

I think he's better than what we've got, only got two years left on his contract too by the looks of things. If the price is right I'd love to see us in for him, but have a horrible feeling he'll go to one of our rivals.

Do you still not see it @BlueCelery? Strange, because minus the top acceleration speed he's fairly Hazard-lite in his close control and dribbling. Seems to take the responsibility of the key playmaker from wide in the same way too.

Jorge Mendes is his agent and there's been talk of us having dibs on him. What a magical little player.

I think Mourinho being our manager might persuade him to join United.

If there's any player in world football we're willing to break the bank for it has to be this guy, put him on our RW with Mkhitaryan next to him and we could have Zamora up top and I'd still think we'd win the league. Incredible player.

Really nice player to watch, would love us to get him in the summer.

I agree that there is probably other positions that should be priority, however players like him don't come along too often.

I've said from the start if its a choice between him or Griezmann, its Silva for me.

He will transform our game play and free up players like Pogba and Mkhi and allow them to shine.

Woody and Jose make this happen.

---------------Martial--------------

Griezmann-- Mkhitaryan--Bernardo Silva

--------Pogba-------Fabinho--------

He's a great player. I'm still taking Mbappe, Sidibe, Mendy or Fabinho before him though.
