BERBATIME!

Seconded. Delighted Campbell's is only a loan deal.

Never like any deal which involve using our players as sweeteners for any deal. I was quite pissed when we send gillispie to newcastle in the andy cole deal. He probably don't want to go, but was either persuaded or forced to leave. Plus the fact that he was quite a tidy player and at that time just scored a beauty of a goal against some premiership team before we flog him to newcastle.

I don't really rate campbell, don't think he's going to succeed here. But he should have a choice as to where he wants to play ultimately.

Very little, the only chance he has of establishing himself in the next few years is if Manucho flops and he can then become a fourth choice striker.

Oh well, I doubt Campbell will be anywhere near as good as Berbatov is now, but I had high hopes for him anyway. :(

Depends how he performs at Spurs in all honesty doesn't it, which in turn depends on whether they actually give him a chance. I would be delighted to see him come back to United at the end of the season having scored 5-10 goals as a sub for Spurs and be used as a 4th choice striker, in the event that Manucho doesn't work out.

about time well done united for keeping us hard all the way through the window

A debut goal against the scum would be nice.

Well if he does well then I'm sure a few teams will be wanting to make a nice £10m bid for him, and he won't be too confident of getting many chances ahead of Berba, Rooney and Tevez I'm sure, so he'll probably leave.

I don't think he'll get many chances though.

Ripped off, but oh well, class player, needed him.

Can barely type...very tired.

Bed.

Going too wait for more info but £30.75 million is a lot more then i was expecting especially if Campbell was going the other way as a sweetener.

I would have thought that fee would have been enough to sign him outright, then have Campbell loaned out to a small club where he will be certain to play most games.

Anyway am glad we have him.
Remember that Spurs only have Bent and Pavlyuchenko except for Campbell. And Juande Ramos prefers 4-4-2. We'll see Campbell get his fair share of games, that I'm sure of. As a substitute, or a starter when either of them are out injured.

Nice to see a new addition despite me saying a few times we don't need anybody, But would be nice if berbatov can prove me wrong & do some magic for us up front
