I have to say Campbell goingon loan to Spurs is even better for us and for them.. the end of the season we will have an extra fully tested prem league player (assuming he doesn't end up like rossi with no games)

Thank feck.

I'm sooooooooooooooooo happy. And to think I ever doubted him

I just came on my belly.

That's really good news too. Another year's experience. Excellent dealing.

excellent news. for those i was discussing my shortage of weed with earlier on, just to keep you updated, a spurs fan who's a friend of mine came round and got me stoned. couldnt make it up. had an enjoyable evening laughing at sky sports. especially robinho crying. i even thought it would be funny if chelsea came out just after midnight and said theyd got kaka for 100mil just to feck off city.

so yeah, my mate came round to see berbatov be sold to united and to provide me with drugs. ace.

Just got to say to all those wankers who said we were not going to sign Berbatov, your posts will be found tomorrow and you guys will look like stupid jackasses :)

love the signing but wanted owen or arshavin as well

Hopefully berba will get through his international duty unscathed and help us beat the pool saturday week

I am glad we didn't treat campbell like a piece of meat to be used as a bargaining chip for berba deal. He's only going on a one year loan, and will be back next season. It's good that our club doesn't treat our players like those Madrid cnuts.

Brilliant feeling. Especially happy for all you guys that have invested so much time in this thread.

Well done lads. :D

yessssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally the berb has come to old trafford.

cant fecking wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manchester United are delighted to announce the signing of Dimitar Berbatov.

The Bulgarian international striker, 27, has signed a four-year contract after joining from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.

As part of the deal, United striker Fraizer Campbell will spend the rest of the 2008/09 season on loan at White Hart Lane.

Upon becoming a United player, Dimitar told ManUtd.com: "Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me. I look forward to playing my part in helping this club win more honours in the years to come."

Sir Alex Ferguson was delighted to finally capture the elegant striker and admitted: "This is a key signing. Dimitar is one of the best and most exciting strikers in world football.

"His style and ability will give the team a different dimension and I’m sure he will be a popular player with the fans."

Doubt he'll get much chances at Spurs tbh. At least he'll get a few, here he would've got none. Still would've preferred him to go to a team who could have gave him regular first team football though.
