You know it is thats what i and others have been trying to tell you but still.....

(So more doesnt equal worse? so you think a one time murderer is worse than someone who'se murdered 10's even 100's of people?)

Edit: Appologies for the morbid metaphor.

Actually i agree lets drop it, leave it at that (1-0 to me:))

So you want to drop it after having a few little snipes? Okay, I'll go along with that.

What does "worse" have to do with it? I said, that saying a paper is more reputable, is saying that it has some degree of reputability, however great or small. I don't agree they are reputable. That's all.

At least one paper at some time in history has produced at least one fact based football story, yes? right then, some papers are more reputable than others!

In truth papers dont ALWAYS print complete nonsense, it may seem like it at times and is frustrating for us all. but some are worse/better than others, its just something that CANT be denied, like the sky IS blue. Sorry.

Actually, looking at the Times article again, they say Pav is costing £12.5 million, whereas the Bulgarian Paper say its £15 million.

If they took their story from the Times, you'd imagine they would have went with the same figure.

The article does differ quite a bit besides that anyway.

This plus the source.

We should have seen the warning signs he wasn't as avaliable as we wanted.

What else?

90 hours left...

tick tock tick tock

I worry to the core that there is every chance now that it might not happen.

I is hanging by a thread and its only getting thinner the closer time approaches the close of the transfer window.

SAF has almost lost faith because of a break down in communication between Spurs. Even he has only hope left and no power do anything about it.

If only Manucho could get his permit to play for us, I would not worry too much if Berbatov doesn't join us.

It's always darkest before the dawn

The more I think about this, it's gonna happen it might happen with one second left but it will happen

It's all Levy's fault. He's either delaying the inevitable, or planning to do something silly just to prove a point.

Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement with Manchester United to sell Dimitar Berbatov when they complete the signing of Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Russia forward is expected to arrive in London today for a medical after Tottenham agreed a fee of about £12.5 million with Spartak Moscow. Tottenham are separately trying to sign a young striker after selling Robbie Keane to Liverpool this summer.

Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed his frustration at Tottenham’s intransigence over Berbatov and he suggested that United would reluctantly proceed this season without the Bulgaria forward unless Tottenham backed down over their demand for a £30 million fee. United made a second bid, thought to be about £25 million, last weekend. David Gill, the United chief executive, may try to conclude a few details with Damien Comolli, the Tottenham sporting director, in Monaco today.

Hans Segers, the former Tottenham goalkeeping coach, gave warning that Berbatov could unsettle the Old Trafford dressing-room. “He is one of the best strikers around, but the way he doesn’t pull his weight for the team is not good for the team,” Segers said. “He is a big sulker. He goes in silent sulks — he is quite a loner in that way. It is not easy to communicate with him and that is a shame because he is a very good player. So wherever he goes, the manager will have a tough job with him

He might have a difficult personality, but if there's one manager to know how to handle that, it's Fergie. I'm not worried about him unsettling our dressing room at all. Look at our team spirit, the characters and leaders we have, Berbatov will be part of that pretty soon and Fergie will control it

I've got a rhyme. I'm not good at rhyming, but here it is:

Sir Alex is hoping,
Juan de Ramos is pondering,
Berbatov is coming,
Chelsea will be sweating,
The goals are gonna be flowing,
When comes the season ending,
The trophy will be waiting,
United it will be saying.
