Reckon he will pull a Gallas if he plays LOL(own goal, not cry LOL)
 
Jeff Stelling on Sky Sports News said that reports this morning were that Berbatov was training with not the first team, not the reserves, but the Youth Team.

They are unconfirmed reports he said, so they don't know if there is any truth to it yet.

Very good sign if true.

Ramos must be really pissed off with him to make him train with the youth team lol.
 
Berbatov is not even in the Spurs Squad today.

Ramos said..."He is not focused enough".

Speaking ahead of today's match against Sunderland, Juande Ramos commented on his reasons for omitting Dimitar Berbatov from today's squad:

"As I said on Thursday, I needed to wait and speak to the player when he returned from international duty and then make a decision about whether or not he was right to play in this game. I have not selected him as I do not think that he is focused enough and I do not feel that he will be good for the dressing room and the team effort.

"It doesn't matter how good a player is, if he is not in the right frame of mind, then he will not perform well. The only thing I concern myself with is picking the best team to try and win the game.

"I shall talk to the player tomorrow, he is our player and we shall work with him at training."

Ramos and co may just be waiting for the window to close and suspect berbatovs desire to come back. in the knowlege that hes got no choice but to get on with it.
Logic strongly suggests however that spurs must now be thinking to give in to the player and to move the feck on.
 
Spurs should on one level think of the player, who with his quality and age deserves a crack at the champions league. he aint gonna get that at spurs.
 
Could be that they are breaking the news to the Spurs Fans that he going to be leaving, but don't blame us for his sale as we could do nothing about it ;) .

Surely your not comparing this with the Ronaldo situation?

Ronaldo was at the already European Champions, and was at the pinnacle of the European game. He had no footballing reason to want to leave. He was, and still is, in my eyes, being a cnut by not respecting the fans who stuck up for him when the world and his dog as baying for his (metaphorical) blood after the World Cup.

Berbatov simply wants to progress in his career, albeit he is taking a morally questionable route towards that career progression...

well thats convenient. We can endlessly speculate about the possible reasons he would want to leave... wanting to play in a different league, wanting a different challenge, wanting what he considered his dream move at the time...

He was under contract, and he disrespected the fans by mouthing off to the press about his desire to leave, when the club were unwilling to sell.

Berbatov has done exactly the same, but he has gone further in that he has let this affect the team on the pitch. Ronaldo has not gone this far... yet.

1431: As plenty of people are pointing out, it looks as though Berbatov is off. Left out of the Tottenham squad. I would think that Man Utd supporters are just counting down until he arrives.

I wouldn't read TOO much into yet, it might just serve a form of punishment for his antics recently.

Again not putting him in the starting line up. I think they are gonna wait until the transfer windows closes to put Berba back into the team.

We are not getting closer to get him and them know he doesnt want to play for them anymore. NOBODY WINS.
