Surely cannot be true. Idiots.

Inner circles.

Maybe Berbatov 9 is GlastonSpur, think about it. I don't think GlastonSpur has been on more than once or twice since Berbatov 9 came up.

It's a conspiracy.
Berbatov 9 was promoted very quickly after providing some ITK stuff. Turns out his ITK had been on the Official website for 2 days. I suspect he's working for the Spurs site and providing them with ITK stuff from here.

Blimey, more intriguing than Tom Clancy's novels. :D

has he signed yet?
Tom Clancy signs........

I wasn't promoted because of my ITK stuff.

I only provided one piece of information about the Berbatov situation, information which made me sign up as Berbatov 9 intially. I haven't provided any update since, because the situation still remains the same I've been told.

My ITK has been posting on the official website for 2 days? Which official website? Spurs or United?

I can assure you my friend wouldn't been seen dead on a forum, nor would he have the time anyway.

All this ITK shit is homo

United website, re: that new chairman of IT guy who you said was seen coming out of OT with David Gill the other night. Looked like good ITK stuff till I found it on the United site dated two days before.
Not saying you are a homo....

wait....yes, I guess I am.

Unfortunately you have embarrassed yourself on this occassion, as I never said that about David Gill or the Chairman.

That was another poster on the newbie forum called mattwing69 or something.

Sultan will back me up on that.

The only information I provided was that the deal was in place for Berbatov to come to United, but Spurs had to secure a replacement first.

:nono:

Strange, I don't feel embarassed. Still, in that case I apologize for suspecting you to be a Spurs fan posing as a United fan.
With a name like Berbatov 9 though you're still a homo (probably) ;)

His price will be very high and there is the lack of pace factor. Our desired target man will need this attribute.

i think we need a striker with pace but someone who could hold up the ball and distribute ala cantona or teddy teddy sheringham would be ideal as well.

berba would be a great addition and FFS we are united if we want him lets get him

certainly the deal could be structured so spurs would get what the asked if we met certain team goals and berba played a certain percentage

Wouldnt any of you agree to the deal at 30 mil if we won 3 or 4 more prem titles and a couple of ECLs pver the next 5 years and Berba was a major reason why?

I know i would

then it would be a bargain

Of course. I don't give a damn how much he costs. I wonder how those people will react though who already started to moan as the Tevez news broke in, that said that his contract would cost us 30 mil.

Manchester United need a star like Dimitar Berbatov

I WASN’T overly impressed with Manchester United but it shows the enormity of having Ronaldo in the team.
I know they want Berbatov, who was on the bench with Spurs, so I think United will be upping the offer slightly because they definitely need someone.
Berbatov says he can do the same sort of job as Eric Cantona and I believe he could. He is that sort of player.
He is probably a bit lazier than Cantona, who put a bit more effort into his game.
But he has definitely got the skill and the temperament Cantona had and he can do things with a ball. He has been magnificent for Spurs and he would be great for Manchester United.
They were lacking firepower on Sunday. When you think they were at home it should have been a better start but Newcastle kept plugging away and Martins gave them a good start.
I don’t think Sir Alex will be unduly worried. He has this resilience that he knows that they will come back.
Ronaldo will be a huge factor now. You don’t know how some of the crowd will react to him after this Real Madrid thing but I’m sure everyone is delighted he is staying.
I don’t think that they will give him any stick because they are frightened if they did he might just say ‘I’ll be off sooner than you think’.

Helpful if you're to be a footballer I would have thought. What a silly article. Sorry in advance for posting it.

That has to be the worst article I have ever read. When did Berbatov say he could do the same job as Cantona?

He can't buy out his contract next summer. He signed his last contract before the age of 28 which means he must serve three years before being able to invoke the Webster ruling.

Ya, he'll have served three years come next summer, hence be able to buy out his contract.

He signed for Spurs in 2006, which was a four year deal.

Spurs have the option to extend it by a further 2, but as it being an extension and not a new contract, if Spurs were to extend it, he'd still be eligible to invoke article 17.

Why do we have such a fecking problem whenever we want to buy a striker these days? Tevez was just ridiculous and now this... I want to see Berbatov play for the club he's dreaming about. To be honest we really don't have more strikers than Tevez and Rooney. Ronaldo is more than enough to play upfront but I don't like it when he's playing the lone striker because he is needed elsewhere, and 3 won't be enough. One goes out injuried and we're even more fragile.

He signed a new contract last summer that increased his salary and included the two-year extension option. If he could do a Webster next summer there is no way we'd pay anywhere near £25m for him.

He didn't extend his contract last summer.

What happened was he was given a pay 'rise', simple as, from roughly £25,000 a week to £40,000 a week.

The Sun at the time said it was £22,000 up to £30,000, but nobody knows for sure how much it was and what he was on originally, but he isn't on a hell of alot at Spurs.

There was no new contract signed.

There were talks about a new contract, but they stalled in April of this year:

If McGrath posted on here he'd be  at till he cried.

and he gets paid for that shit.

 Actually that article is already feckin embarrassing. Is he serious?

Paul McGrath says nothing too controversial in that article. Not brilliantly written but all of his points are entirely sensible.

At the end of the day, the bloke was a phenomenal player for us and has been to hell and back, in his private life, since he left the club. Good on him for writing a newspaper column, even if he's not gonna win any awards for it.

Shame on you feckers for laughing at him.

Couldn't agree more.

Here's an article which might be helpful (or simply buy his book):
