I'd really like to see Rooney and Tevez get some extended time together and tbh I won't be upset if we don't get the berb.
On another note do we know what the berb is like if he is rotated? Will he cause problems? Will he expect to play in every game? Could he be a squad player, ie come in and out of the team regularly? Big questions for me.

I agree that we are a bit light up front. But we have a different and very exciting partnership in Rooney and Tevez, who despite it being the latter's first season, played up front for the majority of last season and it resulted in us winning the fecking lot.
I would like to see these two start for us in a majority of games. This means that the striker we sign should be content with starting a majority of the games on the bench. Will someone like Berbatov, or any 30 million pound striker, be happy with that? Will he feck.

Out of the 8 players you listed for 5 positions. Saha is well never fit and
both Scholes and Giggs are getting close to the end of their careers.
While I don't feel we are in desperate need of £30m striker our squad would be so much stronger because of it. There are no other areas of the squad that need strengthening so why not spend £30m on a striker?
