This brings me back to this dream thing. What is it with these guys lying about their dreams. Dreams are freaky. You don't dream about what you want to do in life. You dream about human goats and strange surroundings in weird rooms. You dream about falling out of aeroplanes and shitting in peoples handbags.
Jeez, if I followed my dreams I'd be locked up.

Seriously, when footballers say they've a dream, it's an imagination, a mental image, or whatever you want to call it. Whether it's the famed Red shirt, White shirt, or wearing a Bahamas holiday shirt along the beach with Alex running lustily behind, it's triggered by a desire. As to whether it's a selfish desire or not, it's debatable.

What about you, mind I ask if you dream about footballers?

No, unless Jessica Alba plays football

I see. With her I bet you can score a hat trick. Is that your leg sticking out on the right?

I wish, on a side that guy's foot doesnt look healthy.

Alba has long since been my no 1 even when she went and had a baby

We can only dream on.

I was going to go see her in Malibu today, until some cocksucker ran me off the road, and then accused me of being on drugs:lol: not anymore buddy, he then preceded to throw his cell at my car and missed from 8 feet, then he asked me if I wanted to fight. Your damn right I did, I would take pleasure from making him eat the curb, alas I held my cool which was hard after Uniteds draw, and went to In and Out thebest hamburger stand out there

I'd love it if Fergie would pull a rabbit out of the hat like he has in the past with the likes of Larsson. It doesn't have to be world class striker in his prime, just someone with experience who will do a job for us when we do not have Rooney or Tevez available.

Really, I can't imagine too many scenarios where we could play Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov together in a team anyway. A stop-gap player who will fill in at least until Ronaldo is back would be enough.

You'd better tell SAF quick - he's clearly labouring under a misapprehension!

Honestly, the conceit of some people on here beggars belief.

Tottenham star Dimitar Berbatov has confirmed that joining Manchester United is his 'dream'.

Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on landing the Bulgarian striker and has been chasing him for most of the summer, but as yet no deal has been agreed between the two clubs.

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos left Berbatov on the bench for their opening day defeat at Middlesbrough, and there was a distinctly mixed reaction from the travelling support when Ramos brought him on.

Now Berbatov has admitted that moving to Old Trafford would be a 'dream' move for him.

"I'm now in Tottenham but no one can disagree with me wanting to follow my dream," said Berbatov - who insisted he was not annoyed at being left out of Spurs' starting line-up at the weekend.

"I'm not angry about the decision of Juande Ramos to name me as a substitute. I'm not crying.

"I only show my emotions to my close friends and family.

"But if I was laughing when I was on the bench, people would say I was an idiot.

"I noticed that Eric Cantona never smiled but I don't know if anyone ever asked him why he didn't look happier."

Berba's agent Emil Dantchev admitted he was hopeful a deal could be struck this week.

"We have two weeks until the end of the transfer window. I think this will be the most important week," he said.
Mido talks up move

Meanwhile, ex-Spurs star Mido - who scored the winning goal for Boro against his former club, feels Berbatov needs to move as he believes his head is not with the White Hart Lane club.

"I don't think Berbatov's head is there anymore," Mido said. "It is not with Spurs and I think he is looking for a move.

"I think he is a very important player for the club. You can see Spurs without Berbatov are a different team. Without Keane as well they are a different team.

"They are huge players. It will be very difficult to replace Berbatov. He is a class player. He is not affected by anything around him.

"It was the same with Keano. He is one of the best players I have ever played with. Losing them I think will be difficult for Spurs."

Why the hell do we insist on fannying around all the time?? We would have won that game had berbatov been playing, im convinced. In the end those 2 points could be as costly as the 2 or 3 million we are so busy spending all summer negotiating over.

Everytime that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face gettin clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dust to dawn
Isnt that the way
Everybodys got their dues in life to pay

I know what nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know its everybodys sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life is in books written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know its true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, if its just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away
(x2)

Dream on, dream on
Dream yourself a dream come true
Dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on...

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter and sing for the tears
Sing with me, if its just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away

Its negotiations, generally these things take time especially nowadays where a lot of the fee is based on conditions etc.

Hopefully a deal can be struck sometime this week in time for Pompy in a week.

Understood but realistically this length of time is stupid and benefits neither team. Its silly really.

Sorry men, I've been a bit out of the loop in the past few days. Could I get an update or a fill in on our apparent situation right now?

When Count Berbula speaks of following his dream, I've certainly always believed he meant to take a dump in some lady's handbag.

Something with his mysterious gaze and moody appearance, maybe.
