I want it confirmed!! I want to finally see him holding up that beautiful shirt of Manchester United
This is like the Tevez saga all over, it's dragged out so long. I seriously think it will be a done deal by the end of the day :D

I reckon Fergie doesn't want a fuss made, that's maybe why he said he had no comment when he was questioned about it.

might be a rehash but they dont generally report on anything unless its happening.

ie mail had it in on tuesday where as this is the first coment bbc have made, and its taken until now to make that coment, ie they were getting facts straight maybe ?

dont be so negative :)

That''s some of the worst "logic" ever uttered. BBC are not making a comment. They are posting more gossp in their gossp column :wenger:

WHEN this thread finishes would one of the mods please post a table showing who contributed the most :wenger:

e.g.

2,014,234 Pogue
2,001,243 Feed Me
1,943,345 Cnut
.

.
5 Manc

etc

Always surprises me how fw posters seem to realise that you can do it extremely simply yoursef. Go to the appropriate forum (in this case Transfers of course) and just left click on the second column from the right ('replies') against the appropriate thread, et voila! a box pops up with the info you require.

At the moment it looks like these are the top posters;

Pogue Mahone 448
GlastonSpur 291
Ekeke 257
charleysurf 239
gaffs 208
bbest 203
KeyserSoze 159
Brwned 158
Fergies Formula 146
GusHiddink 146

I'm not wound up. Just pointing out that it wasn't funny. And it wasn't, to be fair.

I'm not sure how being excited about signing a brilliant player like Berbatov means that anyone is somehow not looking forward to the new season or not happy with our squad as it stands. I don't follow that logic at all.

Of course, if you're not remotely excited or interested in this potential signing that's fine. Probably best to stay out of the thread titled "Berbatov", mind you.

Good post Pogue.

That was just put in the BBC 'Gossip' Column.

They just add stuff to that from the newspapers.

Evening Standard via Daily Mail again.
I guess if they keep saying that Berbatov is having a mdeical in Manchester day after day then they'll eventually get it right.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-star-Berbatov-Manchester-United-medical.html

Dimitar Berbatov was believed to be completing his move to Manchester United today as Zenit St Petersburg lowered their asking price for Andrei Arshavin to allow him to join Tottenham.

Spurs, having already sold Robbie Keane to Liverpool last month, needed to strengthen their forward line before allowing Berbatov to join United in a £28m deal.

This is the most mysterious medical in the history of football :)

Nope, that's definately Liam Millers.

SSN have confirmed again he was at Spurs Training Ground this morning.

Now, for how long I ask?

It may have just been in, out , and off to Manchester.

Whoever told SSN may have said he was there, but wasn't, just to keep things quiet.

Is that radio report genuine that he is having a medical, or is it just another windup?

I've got to run out for an hour or two. I expect 20 or so more pages by the time I get back.

He won't sign for us today. We've probably had a bid rejected this week.

Well, they probably can register him to the FA before the medical... But, that information would probably leak from the FA administration so far.

I wouldn't imagine you can. It's like being given the deeds to a house without signing anything. Spurs will only release his registration when we have signed the contracts, undertaken the necessary financial guarantees. Until then, he won't be our player to register. It would be another case of third-party ownership of sorts.
