This is how desperate people are getting on the official forum

Sportinglife are saying rumours are circulating United's Carrington training HQ that a deal for the Bulgarian is almost complete.

It is thought Berbatov was not at Tottenham on Friday morning and has instead arrived in Manchester for a medical.

However, there has been no official word from the club and Ferguson is not entering the debate either.

they said that on wednesday, and he was at spurs training

No, it was obvious.

James Cooper said something similar prior to me even seeing it.

Yes, maybe he had a fight with his wife or the bloody tea lady. I think Fergie's just a little too experienced to be showing nervousness because of a transfer.

Sky Sports News have confirmed that Berbatov was at training this morning.

Time to draw a line under all this for now I think. There is too much rubbish floating about.

Some people seems more interested in signing Berbatov than the new season that starts this weekend.

Berbatov Signs

OK. This is from an ITK at United following the 5 Live Breaking News I just bought to the Caf:

Dimitar Berbatov is delighted after signing... an autograph. Berbatov missed training at Spurs this morning with rumours rife that he was set to sign... an autograph.

Berbatov said, "In this moment, I am very satisfied with the solution that has eventuated. I am calm that Emil has found me a good autograph book to sign."

So it wasn't funny the first time either.

Thanks for that.

Chill out Pogue.

We are in good nick with or without this guy. I totally agree with Cnut. We need to be looking ahead to the start of the new season.

People are way to spoilt when they state that their happiness with affairs at the club is dictated by the transfer activity. We are the Double winners and have an improved squad on last season; irrespective of whether signings are made or not.

My wumming article contains as much truth as half the other nonsense from The Mail et al. yet that stuff is treated as divine scripture!

United fans are fecking spoilt.

It's embarassing that so many United fans think a summer after we won the PL and CL is "depressing" because they did not get their usual fix of big name signings.

It's a fecking joke quite honestly. The same as people who moaned about the glory of winning the double wearing off after a matter of days. Spoilts cnuts.

Ronaldo wrecked everyone's Summer & now the delay in signing Berba is beginning to ruin our weekend!

Its just not fair.... :wenger:

It's a disgrace that United will field a team with just Rooney and Tevez up front. Fergie has run this club into the ground! :wenger:

A lot of people were fed up with Ronaldo's will he, wont he, saga. It overshadowed our double winning season and that was not right.

I found it quite easy to let Ronaldo be a prick and still revel in the fact that we won the double. It's not something you do every year so it should be easy enough to appreciate it, and forget about Ronaldo.

I see you edited out the bit about how we should be improving, since it's quite clear we have/will improved from last season.

Ronaldo took the shine off it with his actions. I for one did not expect a complete overhaul by big name signings. A little tweaking is needed and our manager aimed to do just that. It quite clear that people are sick of waiting for things to happen. I just want Premier League football back.

I'm not wound up. Just pointing out that it wasn't funny. And it wasn't, to be fair.

I'm not sure how being excited about signing a brilliant player like Berbatov means that anyone is somehow not looking forward to the new season or not happy with our squad as it stands. I don't follow that logic at all.

Of course, if you're not remotely excited or interested in this potential signing that's fine. Probably best to stay out of the thread titled "Berbatov", mind you.
