Chin up guys. The deal is not dead, Spurs want to sell, and United want to buy - perfect scenario for a resolution.
Just a quick refresher.
We've got the double winning squad intact.
Neville, Hargreaves and Saha will hopefully have better luck with injuries than the previous season.
Last seasons arrivals will be better for the experience.
Silva twins, and Possebon looking very good for a place in the first team squad.
We have the mighty O'shea.

I hope we never do business again with spurs after this
Non of them are strikers Sults, apart from Saha who doesn't exist, it's all very depressing

I am, I worry of what could happen without another striker, it's depressingYou're not serious here, are you?
They are not strikersYeah, having a double winning squad IMPROVED by players returning from injury is largely depressing I agree.
Non of them are strikers Sults, apart from Saha who doesn't exist, and the mighty John O' Shea, it's all very exciting
I'd have walked away
Thank Allah, you're not part of our negotiating team bro
Bollox to that.
They're nurturing Gareth Bale for us. You can ask Glastonspur
I'd have walked away
There is more then one striker on the planetYou would have blood on your hands.
Us Muppet's need our yearly fix.
We've got the Brazilian to Bale us out

Morning all,
I see there is a bit of doom and gloom on here this morning because no word on Berbatov yet, but you shouldn't be down, as no news doesn't mean the deal is off or anything.
I haven't spoke to my friend from London yet today, but I'll try to later on to see if he has any news.
The last 2 times I spoke to him he has maintained that a deal is in place with Spurs, but won't become official until they sign a replacement.
As of this morning Spurs seem to be closing in on Arshavin, so maybe this could be the signing to finally release Berbatov.

Excellent points, Sults, (especially the bit about O'Shea) but they may well fall on deaf ears. Caftards just love to whine, you see.
I've noticed a certain irony throughout some of the more strident whinging in this thread. A lot of folk are complaining about how long we are taking to close this deal then, a few posts later, the same caftards start bleating about us getting ripped off.
What seems to escape them is that the reason this is dragging on so long is because the club is trying to avoid getting ripped off. You can't have your Greggs apple slice and eat it, folks.

I agree. For once, we have to make stand of not betting bullied by the other side and overpay for the player.Excellent points, Sults, (especially the bit about O'Shea) but they may well fall on deaf ears. Caftards just love to whine, you see.

It's fine, I don't expect people to believe me, as I know full well there are plenty of numpties out there with ITK's.
I'm just passing on what my friend told me, as he does know more than the average bear, and I trust him.
My registered name is based on what he told me too.
That's all the news I have for now anyway guys, but looks like Friday is going to be a bumpy ride for us.

Unless we get him for £20 million we are over paying for him
