Who the hell is that guy backflipping around like a nutter after goal #5? I'm sure it isn't Bebe, so it seems that some guy decided to do an over the top celebration on his behalf :lol:

Does he play as a striker or winger? I don't follow the Portugal NT but from what I know they're strikers are woeful. They'd probably start English strikers that wouldn't even make our squad. Maybe Bebe can get a role up front.

I don't think he has ever represented Portugal at the highest level but to be fair to him they have only played one friendly since his massive improvement of form. Bebe is one of the top scorers in the Portuguese league in 2014 and if I was the manager, he would undoubtably be my wild card pick.

Maybe our Portuguese man @Arruda could tell us whether Bebe has a chance of making the squad and if so, what position would he be played in?
 
Bebe single-handedly trying to save Paços from relegation. They were 2 down after 15 mins but Bebe heroics with 2 goals make them get back to the game. Paços needs to win. Bebe will score a hat trick to save them :drool:
 
And then four mins later they are 3-2 down. Their defence is sabotaging Bebe heroics :mad:

What a stellar season Bebe is having has developed nicely in these last 2 years as I have said before I would not mind seeing him in Sporting I'm sure we can develop him further
 
I know he is having a very strong second half of the season... but is he likely to make the Portuguese world cup squad?

Agree. He would be a very interesting choice for us. Correio da Manhã had an article about a month ago saying Benfica was interested.

I don't believe in that rumor I actually think their is a strong chance we can get him especially with Capel potentially being sold as well as Wilson Eduardo

Not only Correio da Manhã isn´t trustworthy, Benfica has about a dozen wingers. But who knows with that club. Buying Pizzi and Fariña and loaning them the next day...

Candeias will be another Hugo Vieira. Will be in Braga this year or the next.

He is not good enough for either of the big 3 Braga is as good as he can go I feel ...if Braga want to give us Rafa and we give them Wilson Eduardo I would love that ;)
 
Second half of the Bebe show starts. Cmon Bebe. Very interesting game so far.
 
The editing on that video is horrific. Needless amount of replays of certain goals and you can't even see the last one, plus of course the terrible music.

He's scored some fantastic goals there but you can see how odd his technique is, still kicks like a pub player, albeit a physical beast of a pub player. Would be nice if a club in Portugal takes him on for good and he has a decent career.

To be fair that last game was played in horrendous conditions. Even the commentator on the stream I was watching had absolutely no clue what was happening.

The opposition just scored another courtesy of horrendous defending. Looks like Bebe's goals will go to waste.
 
The other team lost so Paços will have a play off with a second division team. Still chance for another Bebe show. He did a very good individual technical play in the second half, i expect it to become and gif and i´ll put it here.

It's looking likely - Bebë got another brace today in a 2-4 loss to Academica.

Bebë can't stop scoring - I suggest we bring him back next season & send Valencia to Portugal on loan.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing him get another chance here at all......he surely couldn't be any worse than Young, Nani and Valencia

Nor would I, but I doubt he's as good as Young, Valencia, or Nani. He does need to return to England though. Hopefully Van Gaal can bring out the best in him.
 
Why sell this guy? Who else better than VG to get the best out of a rough diamond. Its a youtube video yes, but look at the power, pace and skill in some of these clips. Surely there's huge potential here for VG to try and tap into

I'm pretty sure it's in Youtube's terms of agreement by now, if you try to put some nice Vivaldi on, they'll techno the shit out of it before it's online. It also looked like they added a few mandatory infinite random loops in there as well. Top notch video.

I'd like to see Bebe back in our squad for the next season, Portugal hasn't had a proper striker since Eusebio so why not pick him for the WC squad as well.
 
I hope he gets another chance. Ridiculous how ppl jumped on him because of a few overhit crosses. The guy has some real talent I think.
 
He looks ridiculously fast both off the mark and especially over a distance, which is something we need. His shoots are also amazingly powerful. I like him! Give him a shot.
 
Fair play to the lad he's scored some brilliant goals. I can see him signing for one of the better Portuguese teams in the summer.
