He'll be in our squad next season, I'm confident of that.
According to a tweet that just popped up, Bebe is the top scorer in the Portuguese league.
Who knew?

I still don't think he's quite good enough for United but he's at a stage now where he's getting close. His first touch was excellent tonight, especially when he brought that goal kick down in one touch.
If he can just get that little bit better then he'd be useful for us. If he can improve even further then it'd get interesting. I think he's better as a striker at the moment though as he has less to do and can be as direct as he likes, which is a big asset of his in a way.
Nearly every shot was on target from him tonight and they were all dangerous. Hit a Ronaldo style freekick too which was flying in. Some dangerous crosses too and some tricky footwork. I'd just like to see him link up more at times, if he gets that down then he'll make it for a good team.
A very sensible analysis and i have the same point of view. I think it would be a smart policy to probably renew and loan him to a club with a more demanding enviroment and pressure. If he keeps evolving this way, he should get a chance. Like i said in the Carvalho thread, it´s not like your other winger choices are much better. I know the portuguese league isn´t one of the best in europe but we have seen a fair share of players evolving here, going to top leagues and proving themselves.
So, do you think it'd be good for Sporting, for example, to have him on loan next season? I would imagine your excellent coaches could improve him massively.A very sensible analysis and i have the same point of view. Absolutely. Since it was an away fixture i wasn´t at the stadium and was "following" the match also in the Sporting forum and most of the users have the same opinion. Like i said previously, he has been performing and putting up better number than most of Sporting and Porto´s wingers. If United still has any interest in him, he should do pre season and if you still don´t want him around, just keep the loan policy but this time to a bigger club to see how he goes.
Sounds like it'd work out very well for both clubs. You get a regular goalscorer who'll guarantee 10+ a year in your team(I'd imagine), and Manchester United hopefully see him develop into the excellent player he has the potential to be.
I suppose a Bebe loan(maybe with an option to buy) could be part of the United offer for Carvalho, it'd make sense at least.
There's hope for all of us if Cleverley can make it.If Tom Cleverley can make it at United, so can Bebe.
So what has he got over a goalscorer like Powell, who is several years younger?

Yeah, I always thought he was much more a striker than a winger too. I'm glad he's doing well, I supported the guy on here at times when he was ridiculed and now he actually looks a decent playerhe always looked like a striker to me....when he was making those crazy crosses from the wings...
hope we get him back. Wilson and Babe strike force....hmmmmm
He has gone on loan and done the business- not much more you can ask of the lad. Give him a pre season again see how he gets on. Make a decision after that.
Can we rely on regular updates?Bebe in action this evening, tune in people! 6 goals in his last 6 games.
Can we rely on regular updates?
Cheers chap.Sure. The game can be seen on any bookie site that offers live streaming by the way.
If this kid doesn't go to the World Cup, then there is something seriously wrong with the world.
I'm talking about the real World Cup by the way, not the homeless hobo one like last time.
