I saw a lot of him the CL, so I can comment, but adversely, I saw none of him in pre-season

Now, I may know absolutely nothing about Portuguese football, but I'm pretty sure Bebe should definitely go to the World Cup.
I found his saga interesting due to the circumstances of his background, Good luck to him ,Some of the goals he has scored would have put us to shame ,he has scored some absolute crackers

Yeah that´s what i meant when i said that he´s the best portuguese player in the league goals/assist wise. If our manager Paulo Bento goes just for the numbers, he will have to pick him since he has better stats than Varela, Edinho, Postiga for example. Unfortunately this also shows that besides our starting eleven, our national team doesn´t really have enough quality players (specially in the attack). If i was the manager, i would pick him. Bebe, Nani and Danny from Zenit would be my choices.
How much are guys willing to pay for him? Swap for Carvalho? Maybe a bag pf peanuts thrown in from our side to show our good faith
I´d love to have him on loan. He´s better than most of our current choices. He has better stats than any of our wingers (and we have players like former spanish internacional Diego Capel, Peruvian internacional Carrillo).

If our goalkeeper Rui Patrício has a good World Cup he will probably leave (Atlético Madrid has been scouting him). Last time, a danish keeper left United for us, we were champions. Of course his name was Peter Schmeichel but i´d be willing to give Lindgaard a chance

That would not be a bad deal for both parties involved to be honest. Bebe does not seem to be have a future here and Lindegaard is firmly second choice who will not be displacing De Gea. We could easily promote Amos full time.

How has his crossing and control come along? I felt these two were non-existent when he played for us, and with some serious work on it could make him a weapon. His shooting looks like it's deadly as hell already.
They are better, specially control. You can see he is evolving from working with experienced first team coaches from the clubs he´s been loaned to. Most of them are former pros who are helping on those aspects. He has said so in interviews.
That's good to hear. It's just outrageous seeing these videos being put up of him scoring wonder goal after wonder goal, considering the stage he was at a couple of years ago!
He has been immense so far. He deserves a second chance at Old Trafford.
His shooting ability has always been good but you can always improve under the guidance of coaches. As i have said in previous posts, what Bebe lacks is the fundamentals you learn in the academies. He has that street football improvisation capability but technical aspects like crossing aren´t worked that much on that basis. Even so he has been improving and evolving on that aspect. Working and taking training seriously helps you on that.
He's had a couple of good efforts on goal that worked the keeper, other than that not too dissimilar to his performances in the reserves.
We have a very tactically astute manager and you can see he did his homework and is limitating Bebe´s action zone. This year we are a very good team in defensive terms, it wouldn´t be an easy game for him. He hasn´t been spectacular but decent against strong opposition.

Never thought I'd say this, but I think we should at the very least give Bebe a contract extension to protect his value.
