Would you be happy to see Jose Mourinho become next United manager?

Sorry for only using examples of times when he's actually managing a team and being booed.
Apologies, I don't understand your point. I'm saying SAF teams, Wenger teams....basically every manager has had their team boo-ed. How are you suddenly using that only against Jose Mourinho and basically calling him a cancer on all of the clubs he has managed when pretty much all of their fans (and owners btw!) would have him back in a heartbeat?!

Yeah you're right, I give examples of the stadium booing the clubs and you give me examples of a dozen people who still want him there.
Are you serious?!!
You think the Chelski fans that would take Jose back at Chelsea are in the minority? What are you basing all these opinions on? Certainly not fact!

As you pointed out, booing the CLUBS, it's pretty clear that Chelsea fans were not booing him but the underperforming players.

As for Real Madrid, Perez seems to want him back.

And they seem to have been able to influenced, basically, a whole stadium, wow! Jose Mourinho's people are more powerful and dark than we thought! :nervous:

ps. jokes aside, how much do the fans need to love a recently sacked manager to have banners blasting existing players and supporting their sacked manager?

Pretty much all their fans?

Madrid won 6-2 in their last game in charge and Mourinho was getting booed. It was widely acknowledged Mourinho had to go again at Chelsea. I honestly think it was the most underperforming year that anyone in football has ever had

Cool barometer that (R.Madrid fans re: their exisiting manager).

Funny how they all cheer him and beg him to come back once he's gone....

Now you're exaggerating a few months to a year, let's not forget he won the title last May.

Anyways listen, I can't reply to every ludicrous accusation and comment you make against Jose Mourinho (and frankly I hope others stop too), as you clearly seem to have a personal vendetta against him....which worryingly seems to even transcend the love of our club and it's success. Odd.

Interesting how the same people think how Real Madrid is run very badly are exactly the same people who want us to do exactly what they've done.

Appoint an under-qualified ex-player.

At the moment, not sure what would be the better decision. Could anyone do much worse than Klopp so far?
 OMG he's already flopped has he?
I beg you to buy a football club mate, just watching you run it via a behind-the-scenes documentary would seem like TV gold!

Based on so far yes he has flopped. We have a whole thread over here called Jurgen Flopp watch. You might do well to read through it if you find that post so funny.

A few months? He'd had half of a season and won 4 games.
The Prem season kicked off in August, he was sacked in December, so 4 months, I'm pretty sure 4 fits into the general description of "few".

Er I am sure there is a lot of tongue-in-cheek cos it's a Liverpool manager we're talking about.

Just to be clear btw, Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool FC, appointed in October 2015, is already a flop in February 2016?
Yet you believe in giving some inexperienced a chance (even if it takes longer cos it's all about long term success) cos Jose Mourinho is 'too short term-ish'

Someone asked whether Gerrard should have been appointed over Klopp. I rightfully pointed out that he couldn't have done much worse so far.

Ok, the worst half of a season that a manager has ever had before eventually being put out of his misery.

What exactly do you base that theory on? Gerrard's record as a top flight manager?

Who knows he wouldn't have done a Neville?

How have you managed to label Klopp a flop this quickly when you supported Moyes forever. Seems hypocritical

No energy to respond to him mate. He clearly knows best.....and seems to base every decision on emotion or something!

haha - you MUST be on a WUM....

Maybe just maybe that hiring back a club legend could have got the fans back onside that resulted in them having a good season. At the moment they've gone for Klopp and he's been pretty abysmal. I mean I'm litereally not making this up, you have seen the results yes?

In that case we should look to appoint Ranieri, since managers should all be judged on their past 4 months.

Yes, I would rather have Ranieri over Mourinho.

You say "4 months" like it is a random thing. It was literally the worst four months I have ever seen a manager have. I have never seen a worse half season in football from any manager.

Hiring a club legend for a job he's not qualified for does not get fans back onside.

Surely a quick browse in this very forum tells you most people will prefer Jose to Giggs.

What?! Are the fans not onside?
How do you know what their targets of the season are? So you do want, love and crave instant success, brand whoever doesn't deliver it 'a flop' but also hate Jose Mourinho....riiiight

Though the silence from United is deafening, I wouldn't be that surprised if we end up with Poch, and Mourinho goes to Spurs; after all, they did talk to him even before he went to Real.

Crossed my mind this morning. Don't think Jose would accept that tbh.. Spurs are a nothing side in terms of ECL potential.

Because I support United and want Liverpool to do poorly. I posted on this board that it was probably time for Moyes to go at the end.
You are literally not making sense, and your arguments are simply non-coherant.
Is it logic based or emotion based, or do you just hop between the two as it suits?!

Is that a great post?

I get called a WUM but there's a load of you here who genuinely seem to believe that the press want United to fall down the table so...?

Step 1. Subtly influence the massive United corporation to hire Giggs
Step 2. United fall down
Step 3. ?
Step 4. Profit.

It's gotten to the point where some of you genuinely think there is a massive conspiracy by the British press that is hoping to mastermind our downfall.

Sorry it's not up to the usual standard of your posts Twigg.

You may have your own opinion on why he wrote his article and I'd be interested in hearing that. Fundamentally, my major gripe with the article is that I think how hard I have to work for my salary, then I read the sort of cack churned out by Holt and the fact he's getting paid for that shite makes my pi$$ boil!

I have absolutely no faith in this board representing Manchester United fans point of view. At least not the matchgoing fans. I've seen posts from our very own Paz questioning why the match going support won't boo the team more. I remember the absolute confusion when the fans started the largest sustained chanting we've ever seen when we were 3-0 down to Liverpool at home. In this thread I've already seen people say they were relieved when Giggs didn't get the job, going to watch it live was some of the best memories I've had as United supporter, definitely the best since Fergie retired.

my days, the state of this!

You could try to be a bit more objective, everything is on emotion. Can't be rational about Mourinho because of it

Van Gaal left Barca 3 points above the relegation zone in Jan 2003
