He lost the dressing room. It's not much worse then the dross we've seen with players passing sideways and backwards - which has led to us possibly missing out on the Champions league. I don't think Jose is that bad. Pep is overrated. The lad at Spurs might do well but again he's unproven at the highest level. Giggs would be a leap of faith and Ranieri is a like able guy. That counts for a lot. Jose is probably the best bet though.

I have absolutely no faith in this board representing Manchester United fans point of view. At least not the matchgoing fans. I've seen posts from our very own Paz questioning why the match going support won't boo the team more. I remember the absolute confusion when the fans started the largest sustained chanting we've ever seen when we were 3-0 down to Liverpool at home. In this thread I've already seen people say they were relieved when Giggs didn't get the job, going to watch it live was some of the best memories I've had as United supporter, definitely the best since Fergie retired.
Libel! haha that's utterly not true.
My post, if I remember correctly, was around what the fans could do more of to ensure the United board and 'hierarchy' understand the frustration and not have their hands in the sand.

Pls leave me out of it, try not to quote me etc. Thanks! :)

Every ex scouse in the media, every ABU in the media is pushing for Giggs to get the job....

And no one on here, to my knowledge, has connected the dots to this how?

When tossers like that are pushing for Giggs, you should know something is a miss. The same cnuts who had nothing good to say about him for years

I've been saying this for months, it's so transparent that they all see us barely treading water post-SAF and want to fit us for the concrete shoes that is Giggs.

Among all the pro Giggs nonsense in the media, Stan Collymore wrote this in last Sunday's Mirror: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/stan-collymore-manchester-united-louis-7279193

It's a sad day when Collymore has been the voice of logic twice in as many months.

Say what you will be Mourinho has won multiple league titles in four different countries, two Champions League's with two different teams, countless domestic cups and made players buy into his "us against the world" mantra just like Sir Alex.

He's also the only man to have gone up against Guardiola and WON the battle and it's the psychological edge he brings with him, he knows how to win and for the majority of it he DOES win.

Does he always play great football ? No, does he always play to win ? No but what he does do is win trophies and a team with our brand value and is run as more of a business than anything else simply HAS to win trophies to keep the brand value at the level it is.

We're a club unlike any other he's ever come into as we've got one of the best youth facilities in the world, arguably the best training facilities in the world, alongside Real as the richest club in the world so have transfer funds bigger than anyone and basically have a foundation in place so he's not starting from scratch like at Chelsea or in an inferior league like Portugal or Italy and can just concentrate on us winning.

Not much worse.

He had won 4 games. Out of 16.

It's more the relief that we're rid of Moyes rather than Giggs doing an amazing job in those 4 games where he picked up 7 points.

Well yeah I think he's an absolute cnut and want him nowhere near the club.
Yes OK but that doesn't mean you need to post these crappy arguments about how poisonous he is because he was booed before when you know even the likes of Ferguson have been booed

Reading Twiggs posts I think they should means test who can get tickets to OT. Seems a waste of a ticket.. its like giving a blind man a years free subscription to Pornhub.

He got booed winning a game 6-2. He had humiliated club legends, fallen out with their best player and had comfortably been beaten in the league and CL.

Twigginaters accounts surely been hacked!!!!? This guy could make it seem a turd could smell sweet. He's turning into the old Kevin. The only Twig, could spin any old bullshit to make it seem great. He was the worlds biggest optimist. I ain't buying this drama queen bullshit. When you lose the dressing room, you've lost the dressing room. LVG had the dressing room and people wanted him when I wanted Giggs...and now they don't want him and I can't say I blame them. Jose is the best option.

Laughing at the man who has got Leicester 5 points clear at the top while wanting a manager who had the worst half season ever managed in football.
Are you hearing yourself? You think Jose is 'too short-termish' but applaud and fecking actually WANT TO HIRE a flavour of the month!

Mourinho has three years at Chelsea. Wins the title twice. Third year does poor in the league and it starts to go south.

Fourth year fired after rumours of bust ups with the squad.

Goes to Inter Milan. Leaves after two years. His squad the year after are aging and can't replicate their success.

Goes to Madrid. Third year ends with him getting booed by his own fans after winning 6-2, his own players have fallen out with him and club legends have been dropped.

Goes to Chelsea. Third year. Worst half season I or any of you have seen. Literally breaking records for being a worse reigning champion than Moyes. Players hate him. Falls out with medical staff. Fired.

He is to short termist. I would rather have Ranieri, because no matter how well he does he will be a dignified representative of our football club.

Hope not.
Btw Porto, Inter, Chelsea, etc say hello....

:nervous:

I don't see one player in this Spurs side apart from Delle Alli who could potentially feature in a European Cup final and hold his own whereas when they had Modric and Bale.. you could see straight away that they had world class potential.

This is an exceptionally well drilled team where it is solid throughout but not spectacular. Its good.. very anti spurs in that respect and if Poch stays there. . I am sure he can unearth more gems to really give that side proper potential. He is however going to a) face a super hungry Pep and Jose b) revitalised Liverpool under Klopp and c) probably get poached by Barca/ Real/ Bayern in a few years. Then their project will derail.

In fairness, I wasn't blind until I got a year's free subscription to Pornhub.

So has Fergie. Humiliated Keane, Stam, Beckham and Rooney, fall out with Nistelrooy and was comfortably beaten in UCL year after year. And booed a few times in his career.

What a shit manager he was, dunno how we kept him this long.

and you think ranieri is a long term manager? maximium time he's managed a club in a single spell is 4 years...

not to mention that he's in his mid 60s so he won't be managing for much longer.

Exactly - and SAF was empowered to ship them out.
Jose would love the control.

Let's see...

Chelsea first stint 3rd year, he finished 2nd, how poor, good knows how we'd cope if he does equally poorly. Forth season fired after bust up with OWNER who forced the likes of Shevchenko on him.

Inter Milan, they couldn't replicate the success because they appointed a manager nowhere near as good as he is.

Madrid, club legends SHOULD be dropped when they're no longer good enough. It's pretty clear that Jose got it right with Casillas.

Chelsea 2nd stint, as I've already pointed out and you conveniently ignored, LVG left Barca 3pts above the relegation zone late in January back in 2003.

Falling out with medical staff is nothing to get up in arms about, Guardiola did just that too.

Can we open a separate Twigg vs everyone else thread? Keep coming here to check for updates/quotes but it's tedious as feck.

Agreed it's very tedious.

I'm bored myself, I end up arguing with people over ridiculous claims

He's an absolute prick and he will send our club backwards. Sorry for annoying some of you.

You're entitled to your opinion of him as a person. But you have no valid basis at all for the bolded part; Moyes sent the club backwards by years.

You made your opinion perfectly clear about 39 pages ago. What do you achieve by repeating the same thing over and over again? There's no debate left to be had.

Jose would've shut up shop at 1-0, won, and still been complained about

Why are people still engaging Twigginater? It's obvious he's just a pure WUM. Ignoring him completely denies him of his thrill.

He isn't a pure wum, he's passionate about certain United traditions he feels Mourinho will make a mockery of, which is understandable as Mourinho has a very unique personality and some people don't agree with what Twigg is saying, it's not about any kind of "thrill".

If we get him now, we might win Europa and get the CL spot :p

He has his opinions on Mourinho which many many fans would actually agree with it. I don't but he's entitled to his views.
