I'm sure that Mourinho's latest comments are just him trying to take pressure off his team.

Oh...

That statement was bland, boring, uninspiring and not how a United manager makes a statement. It's not written the United way

Needs to be more factually accurate.

"We scored a goal. Then they scored a goal. Then it was a draw. You saw that yeah?"

Moreover, he's lowered our stature by literally saying Europa is our level. A brand, sponsor and board member would look at this and know he's not going to last by seasons end.

Was thinking about just this the other day. Now, LVG obviously hasn't said in so many words that Europa should be our level - but he has made several comments which I find it unlikely that a sponsor would appreciate much.

There has been very little fight in his comments, put it like that. Expectations are too high, we're in transition, can't live in the past, us and Liverpool are in the Europa now, etc. What both fans and - presumably - sponsors would like to hear is more along the lines of: We shouldn't be here, our ambitions are much higher than this, we won't rest until we're back on our perch, etc.

Just words, at the end of the day - obviously - but still, it can't be entirely irrelevant to, say, Adidas, how United (as represented by LVG) come across PR wise. LVG has looked like anything but a picture of either ambition or success this season. Making excuses, shifting blame, looking washed out and done for.

Knowing LVG, his remarks are the diplomatic way of saying: "I haven't failed - the players aren't good enough."

He has actually said that at some point hasn't he?

I realise this is a parody but "my title", " I" live this moment in his career. He knows how to attention seek when it suits him.

What did he think of Ranieri in the past?

José

"Ranieri...has the mentality of someone who doesn’t need to win. He is almost 70 years old. (Ranieri was 55 at the time)He has won a Supercup and another small trophy and he is too old to change his mentality,” Mourinho said.

"He’s old and he hasn’t won anything. I studied Italian five hours a day for many months to ensure I could communicate with the players, media and fans. Ranieri had been in England for five years and still struggled to say ‘good morning’ and ‘good afternoon.'"

You can really see why he's so well liked..
They got over it

The Italian said: “When I came back, Mourinho was the first one to send me a message saying ‘welcome back’. We clashed in Italy but that was good for everybody. When I was in Inter every week he sent me a message, he’s a nice boy.”

Great stuff. I can't wait until we lose to Chelsea and he criticises Conte for paying off the ref!!

And this is why I absolutely want Mourinho at MUFC.
I want to become the most hated club again...just like we were under Fergie.
Right now, rival supporters don't hate us...they feel pity of what have become.
No, they still hate us.

We were hated because we were always there or there abouts when the league was wrapping up or any trophy was getting handed out. We weren't just hated for having a prick of a manager.

I want Mourinho to come because we're in a mess right now, and he's got a track record of success.

His cuntishness is a turn-off, if anything. Those comments are a bit pathetic and classless.

Well I believe that goes with the pro's. It's not like LVG is well liked.. He just happens to not have a clue. Otherwise his persona would be great too.

After Ranieri won the title with grace, humility and dignity, it's brought back my hatred of Mourinho as a character. That horrible attack he did on Ranieri and numerous other managers made his own failures even more enjoyable to see. He's a class A cnut who I don't want to have to witness first hand as the manager of the club I support.

That's the reason I want Mourinho here.He just happens to be a "not a nice guy"...but right now, we need that.
The situation where the 4th place trophy is what we are now playing for every season, for the last 3 seasons - has to stop.

It was quite noticeable how little mind games and hostility there was from the Leicester and Tottenham camps.

But then you could say this is what happens when you get teams with next to no history of winning stuff compete!

I'm sure they'll quite quickly develop that edge!

I'm being trolled by life, obvs.

So what's Mourinho suppose to do for a year?! If that's true the United board have truly lost their minds. What are we the fans going to do about this? VG for one more season to feck us over even more?!

Anyone want to start a twitter campaign boycotting Man Utd products? The silly bastard board!

Another silly and negative Castles update. Yay.

How long before his updates get banned from here? Can't stand that bloke

They're trying to make José bugger off without them copping the flack for actually turning him down.
