Is it related to Mourinho? Yes. Well there you go then. If you can't see a connection, best get some glasses.

It was relevant enough for you to click through and read it.

Might as well post stuff from random twitter accounts then when it comes to Mourinho, why only stop at interforums ITK. Let's take shit posting to a new level.

Mourinho made it abundantly clear that he's not interested in France nor Spain. He said he wants a competitive league (that rules out France. Didn't he once say he's not ready to retire yet when he was touted for the PSG Job?). As for Spain he said theres only 3-4 games a year + in his Portugal interview said he reinstated he needs a competitive league. England being his preference just makes it more obvious.

He lives here, his family want to settle here, he wants a long term job, he favours the league here etc etc. Madrid and PSG aren't even in the mix, if they were Zidane wouldn't have been offered a 3yr contract and Blanc a new one all this year.

Exactly. The PSG rumours are there in the hope that United fans who want Mourinho then shit themselves at the prospect of him not going to United.

Wishful thinking from a sad sad City fan

I'd like to think so. Can't see him going back to Real or taking the job at PSG. I think Mourinho has wanted the United job for years and would jump at the chance. However, I think a deal to bring him here is far from concluded. I don't have confidence in our board to make good decisions at the moment.

Mourinho surely prefers to manage in England, but if the right offer doesn't come he will have to look elsewhere, he's not going to spend a year at home. In any case he wouldn't be the first one who takes a boring job.

“Bayern Munich will win the Bundesliga with their hands still in their pockets. I must admit I don’t enjoy Bayern’s games, as there’s so little competition."

Don't think it's relevant here. If he wanted to sign for Madrid and Perez wanted him that badly, then surely he'd have gone for him after sacking Rafa.

Not sure why we are even discussing some other forums ITK here let alone from a City forum.

Meh, no different whatsoever to the ITK's on here proclaiming with no uncertainty that Mourinho has signed for us.

Yep. Funny how City's ITK stuff about United is like: "I've heard that their stadium's gonna fall down, and that Martial is joining us. Oh, and Bobby Charlton's got rabies."

My posts re. Mourinho driven towards United over Madrid/PSG is under the assumption that there is an offer ready for him.

Jose always seems to be going somewhere else when we win. Once we lose again, he will back to going to United.

Just shows nobody know anything. The stories that he's coming here are as made up as the stories that he isn't.

Yes because no one has a clue and the media like to make sure they are keeping as many doors open as possible, so that whatever the eventuality may be, they can refer back to a story from whatever date and proclaim that they knew all along. This will be done despite the fact that they failed to mention all the stories they ran about Mourinho that didn't come to fruition.

PSG is such an easy story to write. He has said he wants to stay in England and does not like lopsided leagues with only one or two competitve games a season.
Like the Neymar to City story until Neymar came out and basically said he hates City.. After it was being reported he would love to work with Pep at the Etihad.
Sometimes a story is too obvious to give it credibility.

I don't know why they even bother to do this. Even in the days when I regularly bought newspapers, I didn't ever think 'I'll buy *'paper name* today, because they're always accurate about transfers'.

I especially love when they refer back to a story they ran months previously accompanied by a picture of said story with the date highlighted, and proclaim how they were the first to break the story.

He said his preference is England. That doesn't mean he won't manage elsewhere. To be frank, Mourinho isn't in a position where he can pick and choose which club he goes to. He admitted as much in his last interview.

He said he doesnt want to move his family from London and would like to find a job here. So if it cones doen to PSG v United then the advantages are all in our favour. PSG v United is a choice he has by any definition.
The only way he goes to France is if we don't want him and by all accounts we do. If PSG beat City this wolld be a nothing story. Remember the stories about a Pep tug of war with us meeting him in France etc only to be told a few days later that he signed up to City months prior? Great journalism there..
This is identical. Imagine the amount of Guardiola stories that we missed out on since City nipped it in the bud. I guarentee we would be told Pep would turn City down if they fail to qualify for the CL with United waiting in the wings etc.
Hell this story starting floating about minutes after PSG were eliminated. If he turned down Madrid again then it's a safe bet he's ours.

He said he wants a competitive league where 1 or 2 hard games a season doesn't excite him. Unless Utd have told him LVG is staying and there's no chance, he's waiting out to join us. It's clear as day.

All of these reports are based on the Gazetta article. It's all a rehash of that rather than separate news

So we don't want someone who will overshadow the club? Sorry that is ridiculous. Fergie was a massive personality andattracted his share of controversy everytime he opened his mouth. They would rather have someone with the personality of a wet fish, no experience that Pep etc will eat for breakfast?

Don't believe any of those reports, we just have to wait and see what will happen. The PSG reports just look like an easy made-up story after they went out in the CL. They just gave Blanc a new contract, they could have waited till they CL games, but they didn't so it seems they are happy with him and will not sack him now a few weeks later just because they lost against City and Jose made it already pretty clear that he prefers England and the PL and wants to stay here with his family. You never now what Real will do, but right now it doesn't look like Zidane will be sacked either.

With unhappy players (if recent rumours are true), unhappy supporters, and sponsors that demand results, LvG will not be here next season.
Smaller club? If you think Unitd is smaller than PSG, you are probably the only one, and you don't understand how to measure the size of a club.
Mourinho has been fired in his last two clubs, he needs to prove himself, going to a club in a league with no competition is not the way to prove yourself.

I didn't say PSG were bigger than United. You misunderstood. I meant if he doesn't go to United, I can't see him going to a smaller club outside of the likes of United, Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, PSG etc so he'll end up at PSG

And, judging by his treatment of his brother, the morals of a sewer rat.

Thought so too. What does that even mean? The club wants someone who will blend into the background or something? What is this? A wedding with an insecure bride that no one can overshadow?

Jeez! Will I be glad when this Ryan Giggs circus is over.

Yep, it was a mistake to bring him in assistant manager - this was always going to happen. Now the club have given themselves a problem which will result in widespread outrage either way
