Would you be happy to see Jose Mourinho become next United manager?

Seems like they're basing that on the quotes from Charlton about Fergie being pals with Mourinho for other reasons.

Sounds like hearsay to me.

Why would Fergie push for Giggs who would almost certainly fail when City have the likes of Pep? After Giggs, what then? Neville?

Basically red issue are saying Fergie wants to sabotage the club he's spent years building.

the spirit is strong but the body is weak.

Of course SAF wants power. The man had been Manchester United for more than 20 years and that something people can get easily happy with. Do you think that people have a power switch at the back of the head that they can switch off and go to irrelevance with a smile on their face? If SAF didn't want power then he would have simply retired and moved to his lovely home in Scotland instead of becoming a director

I mean how can anyone take this seriously?

"Why didn't he move home?" I don't know maybe the fact he has an amazing house with all his family here and he got offered a job.

The Rock of Gibralter thing comes to mind. I think he was stunned that they didn't just give in to him and fought back. Trouble is if he got involved with Giggs and it goes wrong, what will people think then. He could destroy any goodwill.

Go back to your cave troll. Hopefully we will soon enjoy some great time under Maureen

That's what's so inexplicable.

But then again he did choose Moyes.........
Plus, he's not a good judge of managers - of players no question - but managers - he seems to choose them based on how friendly they are with him...

He actually took on two of the most wealthiest and powerful men around, over a horse he didn't even own

Does anyone here still think Rooney is suffering from depression and that's why he's injured?

If not why believe that from red issue?

I don't know if SAF want Giggs or Maureen. However I think its stupid to think that a man whose been in power for more than two decades will suddenly feel comfortable without it. If that's the case he would have retired and enjoy a well earned restinstead of becoming director

Reported for attacking the poster not the post.

report who put that tag on you too while at it. Im just repeating what its written. However I am very sorry for hurting such a vulnerable and sensitive being. Hugs and all

I was thinking that as well. SAF can be quite reckless. It was exciting for us when he injected that attitude into the way we play - but in the real world, it can be dangerous.

Would Giggs be more valuable to the marketing men over the self-proclaimed Special One? Mourinho is box-office too, right?

This is worth bearing in mind. So definitely hope Red Issue has got this wrong as well.

Aren't Red Issue the ones that insisted we were always trying for Mourinho when he blatantly wasn't available?

Mourinho would be more marketable than Giggs, by a factor of 100. Giggsy has no 'screen charisma' whatsoever

Whether they're right or wrong you do get the feeling that they just don't like Manchester United.

A lot of bold claims there.

If even half of that is true, we are in big, big trouble.

I think its all true. And none of these claims are rocket science either. However rather than it being about power politics, I think that both SAF and Woodward all have the clubs best interest at heart, they simply have different opinions.

The key thing though that pisses me off is SAF still wanting influence. If he did, he should be transparent and have a proper footballing role at the club. But he does not, he is a marketing tool. And so he is repeating all the same mistakes we made with Busby.

Power is never given nor a right no matter what ones job title might be: Power has to be taken. And Woodward has to take a risk if he wants to assert his power.

That risk must be to immediately sack LVG and in his place hire Mourinho. If Giggs leaves, he leaves.n In doing so, he will also cut SAF and his cronies at the knee's.

Appointing Giggs is a bigger risk to his own political position. If Giggs fails, Woodward gets the sack. If Giggs does well, the credit and power goes to SAF, so Woodward effectively also becomes simply a puppet.

This is a big boys business, and people like Woodward are handsomely padi to deal with such organisational dynamics and tough choices. And Woodward is failing on that count right now.

I can never understand why the feck is RI still being quoted and treated as something reliable. It's same as idiots posting indykaila's tweets saying 'I know it's bullshit but posting in case'. Why?

Exactly Jose oozes charisma. Ryan has none. His attractiveness was all about his football.
Exactly! I can't see it myself but all the bloody women in my office go nuts for Jose:confused: Even the conservative gals:eek:

Jose would also attract the stars that Ed seems to covet. Unfortunately, Ryan wouldn't.

RedIssue are useless cnuts who like to sensationalize everything with ridiculous claims.
