Can't believe Trott survived that. At the rate the Aussies are going, they're not going to need Lyon to deliver a 5-fer or anything like that.

We need 319 runs in 87 overs which is certainly doable if the weather holds.

However, scoring at 1 run per over is not the way to attack that target. Fannying around will only end up getting out cheaply & putting the batsmen to come under pressure.

Get a fecking move on, its around 4 runs per over.

It's not certainly doable. It's a 5th day wicket, there's a reason why this type of stuff happens once in about 30 tests matches.
 
There just isn't enough wicket taking spur. Harris is cooked in a sec and Siddle is rhythm and not strike
Weapon to come straight in.

Dubious suggestion from Hawk eye that was hitting middle and leg IMO

It's a much better 5th day wicket than most, England won't chase it though that's clear.
 
Let Lyon come in. The spin from Swann yesterday was ridiculous.

:lol: It hit him on leg, I think the Umpire was right in thinking it might slide down leg.

Yes but this is Australia.

For the England fan, Peter Siddle can become Denis Lillee and Chris Rogers can become Don Bradman. My formative years have made me fear them far beyond their abilities. Still, the world is on its head at the moment.
