Yeah, that is true. Still, it is stupid to blame other teams for trying to sign top players.

If you sign Vidal I will buy a Manchester United shirt with his name on the back. That is a t shirt I wouldnt otherwise be buying, the first one Ive got since Vodafone was our kit sponsor.

Just doing my part to help you recoup some of that investment in the short term.

I'm not too sure, they are twins after all. ;):D

But to be fair, Pogba hasn't exactly set the world alight with his performance in the academy; in fact players like Morrison and Januzaj stood out more.

Sir Alex also looks at the characters of the person other than purely football capabilities when it comes to bringing in players. It just didn't work out with Pogba, and it just sucks that he's going to be a top class player many of us said he would be.

Now, Vidal Sassoon - when is he signing and what number will he take? Number 8 surely?

No he didnt, he would have broke into that team no matter what. He already was the complete midfielder before being an integral player for Leverkusen. Just not the household name you know today.

In his first season with them he played half of their games. Second season as much as was physically possible and the same again after that. When he first went to Italy we all expected to see him compete with Marchisio for a spot saying he went there for more game time is bullshit. Conte ended up playing a three in the middle. Why because his midfielders were all that good.

Plus hadd he gone to Bayern LVG was currently there! Do you think someone he said only a couple of weeks back that he has always admired and tried to sign as he moved to Juve wouldnt have broken through? Nah man youre talking clonkers!! There would have been lots of game time under LVG but he chose something a little more outside of the box by going to help resurrect the OLD LADY!!!!!!

I don't like central midfielders having 7. We should be saving that for Januzaj. Vidal should get 18 when Young goes back to Villa.

Pogba wanted first team football and money. We offered all the money he wanted but he chose guaranteed football over chances. You can't blame him. Sure Pogba was pissed Park played in midfield over him but had we lost the game people would have said "Should have gone for the workrate of park then risk a kid". Then Paul Scholes came back and I tell you I bet if I ask all of Manchester Uniteds fans would they rather have seen scholes for 1 more year or pogba maybe make a break through? I bet a LOT would have gone for scholes. He didn't want to wait for his chance as he felt he could get football, fair play to him. Just stop talking about him
 
This is a question for the caf that was put to me. Would you chose Vidal/Vermaelen or Carvalho/Hummels ? You can't mix between them:)
I had to think about it ages and finally said Carvalho/Hummels, hard question?

Anything with Vidal in it has to win out here. Your talking about a player who really no one can touch on his day. Our defence when fit will be still solid with the addition of Vermaelen as back up/starter with Evans.

That's the point Hummels is a far better defender than sick note Vermaelan. Taking the ability already of Carvalho, considering his age it seem's to make more sense for the future. Would love Vidal though, hard to know.

Nah let's go against our policy and buy one who's a the top of his game now, not just a great prospect. Vidal is exactly what we need right now.
 
Some people getting very caught up in these Vidal rumours, just hope the club knows what it's doing and we don't waste our time chasing unrealistic targets like last Summer (Fabregas, Thiago) only to end up with that sponge Fellaini at the last minute due to geographical convenience.

We've already wrapped up Herrera so doubt we'll be doing a Fellaini this year. Plus, van Gaal's not a dithering dave
