We've signed Ander Herrera, and I'm very happy about it. Di Maria will hopefully be a winger for us and I call everyone mental who suggests that CM is his best and natural position, because he played there in the Madrid team of last season. I'm not convinced Blind can do a job for us. The other centre-mid options are Cleverley, Fletcher and Fellaini. Oh, and Anderson.
I was getting my hopes up that under Van Gaal we'd finally play some nice football with our success depending on the team and not the man upfront who scores shitloads. Don't get me wrong, I see the logic behind it if RVP is injured longer, Welbz gets loaned out and Chicharito goes to Real, but surely this wouldn't have been priority.

SOme people need additional explaining about Di Maria's last season it seems.
If we sign two world-class wingers I'm happy to play Di Maria in a 3-man midfield for us. As long as that's not happening his best position for us is as a winger. We need to get the ball to him in front of the goal, doesn't make any sense if the players he passes to can do feck all with the ball.
