I think Pirlo is out for a bit, so they would technically have 2 players out, one just temporarily.
However, if Guarin is prepared, this could well and truly still be on!
We've bloody signed 4 players since this saga began and we are still here.
Because Vidal is our holy grail. He is going to be the last arrival of the summer - the one that puts the cherry on the expensive cake we've been baking for months now.

I actually can imagine we don't want him as much anymore. van Gaal may just fancy a Blind, Herrera and Di Maria midfield three and let Vidal be with his "dodgy knees", or wait for Strootman who is far less of an injury concern, what with him being out for much longer with knee injuries too...
If you told me at the start of the summer we would have di Maria and Falcao in our ranks I'd say you were nuts but anything is possible this transfer window it seems
I hope we go in for Vidal again, money clearly isn't the issue for us this summer.

Roberto Pereyra from Udinese, Romulo from Verona and Patrice Evra (allowing Asamoah to move back into central midfield). All three options have fairly similar characteristics to Vidal, so in case Vidal leaves, the money would probably go to strengthening other positions.

Why was Falcao news suddenly brief to the press? My theory is Woody was talking to vidal, telling him Falcao is coming to united and vidal dont believe it. Woody then make a phone call to break the news to the press and show it to Vidal. Muppet dreaming here of course.
