Arturo Vidal

After he was confirmed to be leaving. With Vidal's knee problems, the recent reports that Vidal has told his teammates he's staying and now that tweet saying "We", he won't be leaving.

Oh come on. I don't speak Italian - so don't know the linguistic subtleties - but it would have been a bit weird if he'd talked about Juve in the third person "They are at 100% full strength" or whatever he should have said if a move was still on.

Who's the gimp in the shades anyway?

It's not just the we, I mean the whole tweet. Could have just kept quiet or tweeted something different.

They've got a game at the weekend. He's a footballer. Footballers tweet about games. Really think you're reading too much into this.

Of course, I've thought for ages we won't be signing him but don't really get this "nail in the coffin" stuff. Not when we've all ignored the repeated assurances from Juve that they won't sell him. If there really is a slim chance that we might sign him, I don't think this tweet changes anything.

We should move for Rabiot now. Turn him into a world class player and let Juve come begging in a few years, only to sell him to PSG for disgusting money.

I never really thought there was a point where Vidal was coming, but that tweets hardly breaking news  he's done a few about Juve/with his Juve team mates over this saga.
Let it go Lennon, let it go. We have Carvalho. Our new Prince
I wouldn't mind Carvalho at all! Young, solid, got a moustache, centre mid

Quite right, means nothing

After 621 pages is the cafe gonna give up now....hell no!!!

There is still time so keep posting boys and girls.

Indeed. Nobody even blinked an eye when he posted that photo of him with his arms around his team-mates on the Juve bus. Apparently that was because a slight sadness behind the eyes meant it was still "Artur-on"

The moment we briefed the media with Carvalho's name, it was off. I believe talk were ongoing but when it became obvious Juve won't let him we changed our interest and gone for Carvalho.

Tell you what, i wouldn't be that disappointed at all if the fallback option was Carvalho.

This thread has been horrible. Barely anything of note happened all summer, but I still checked it every day, numerous times. Just the usual garbage sources quoting wage figures and transfer fees. Bah.

Screw him. Hope he, Pogba and Juve wither into a dark and depressed football hole!

To the Carvalho thread!

I'm always amused that such assumptious logic can be applied legitimately when it's negative about a transfer but mocked when used as a beacon of hope by the muppets.

Not sure if you're being serious lol

I smilied... we are fine mate :D.

Another one that took it all a bit too seriously. I'd already said I'd leave if this doesn't go through (unless it's his knee that caused the deal not to happen. Prove it's not the knee that breaks the deal and I'll leave the forum) so I was having some fun trying to get others to do the same. It's the transfer forum for god sake man, lighten up. 99% of people on here got the joke, let it go before you embarrass yourself.

Self promoting much... You troll transfer forums for attention. Where did I ever take you seriously mate...??

As for embarrassing, getting a ban is fine... but calling you out a problem.

Thanks for the explanation :smirk:.

Is the nail really ever in the coffin with this one? another Tweet tomorrow from some professional boxer could spark everything else off again on here.

Does anyone remember Thiago's Instagram pic of him saying something like "I love Barcelona" just before he left?

Well, this is different. It's over.

Come on, there's three days left of the transfer window. If it was a month ago, sure something could still happen, but with the little time left, that tweet is a pretty clear statement.

Allegri's comment about Vidal's knee needing to be managed doesn't bode all that well.

You just know this saga will rear its head again in Jan and next summer... sigh

This "100% strength" tweet, maybe i'm stupid but can someone explain why thats a positive tweet?.
