Juve fans getting worried

#Vidal could have very easily come out & denied all the stories from day 1, but he has not...up until now.

Kagawa + Hernandez + 37m. Yes, it's over the top, but who the feck cares? Neither of those players are of use to us and Vidal is the signing that can make or break our season. Why can't we, for once in our club history, just stop caring about how classy we look from the outside looking in and just make a signing that would, obvious as daylight, fix the majority of our midfield problems? Or have I missed the part where being classy is more important than being successful in world football?

The only, and I do mean only reason to not panic-bid right now is if you WANT United to be outside of the top 4 battle again.

Even if we have to pay 70m to 80m, i think we should just do it. Our main problem is to tidy up the mess of our squad and make it formidable once again. Money can always be earn easily with the brand of united.

#GdS: Yesterday, Vidal's agent Fernando Felicevich was in Manchester, while the player exited Juve's training ground avoiding the fans.

#GdS: There are talks that Vidal has already agreed a 5-year contract with Manchester which will see him earn 8m euros/year.

#GdS: As time passes by it will be difficult for Vidal to leave as Juve have less time to find a replacement but eyes are on Guarin.
Cheers pal.

They would still have a midfield of Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah, Marchisio if Vidal leaves. Feck me if only we were lucky enough to have a half as talented midfield.
Give them Hernandez and Kagawa, cash. Job done. We need him more than them!

tbh that's exactly how United will be thinking.

We also need to look at their financial situation. He has obviously not declared himself to the club publicly. He is entering his peak years where no doubt he'll get his agent to start talking about a pay rise etc if he stays. They are already in talks with Pogba over a raise as he is the golden goose in that team. They are now looking at loan signings only which indicates they are now pretty much skint. United are desperate for midfield players and Juventus will know this. I really doubt it is all about this knee. Surely if a player is contracted to a club and then disobeys club doctors to participate in a World Cup, the player is liable for any future loss to his employer. Also I would wager a knee expert being present at any medical United would give him and he would only be signed if everything checks out. If they believe he is crocked they have that on medical advice, the same medical advice we will get.

All the noise has come from them. All the media quotes and all of the denials...despite no bids being made. You have to wonder if they are thinking his knee is Crocked....let's cash in.
Indeed. And even if wasn't a sure case of being crocked, they know that his value will only fall from this point onwards anyway.

Cds"LVG has clear strategy to ask juve for a big discount, cuz Vidal didnt play yet & its not sure he's recovered from his injury"

So is this actually back ArturON?
It really would finish up the squad nicely, but after the OCD of checking this thread every 10 minutes i got in the height of the excitement, i'm trying not to hold my breath.

There's been so much smoke with this one that it's hard not to believe there's something to it and Vidal still hasn't really denied it. It's been an infuriating transfer saga, not least for Juve fans who are basically like we were when Ronaldo lef, many are convinced he's bound to leave and some are talking of spending money on Falcao etc, not that I believe it.
The times I've seen that we are just about to table a bid has been ridiculous. Fair enough waiting for the knee and all, but I hope that if we've made the decision, things go swiftly from here.

The worrying thing though was that Chile doctor claiming his knee surgery was a botch job. Hard to believe he would risk his career to play at the World Cup or that Juventus would allow it for that matter, but I suppose you never know.

I think we could have signed him easily enough, but the sticking issues are obviously his knee + Juve signing a replacement this late. Let's hope!

It is like they come here to get ideas...

Good call vibe :)!!

I will say this. If United do sign Vidal, can we all acknowledge the master troll that is LVG? First he name drops Ronaldo and ADM, then it's Messi and Vidal.
IF United do sign Vidal there won't be much time to acknowledge anything. The party will probably last for weeks, depending on how fast we get rid of the 3-4-1-2.

Clearly the British press know that the agent was in Manchester yesterday.

I love the Di Maria signing, but this signing would excite me the most in all honesty.
