Why are there about 10 pages of people talking about the Prime Minister?

Something going on at number 10? What's David Cameron got to do with the Vidal transfer?

I'm ever so confused! Can someone let me know?

I feel bad now! I don't know what is grudge against you is.
I have no idea, its probably because when I started posting I started making bold claims about the club and have since completely calmed down.

Basically if you claim to know someone with links to the club or have some information that might have some weight behind it, its best to observe rather than comment. Now I tend to post opinions rather than facts.

Not to worry though. Its all part of the fun.

Fair play to Rex and Cina for managing to again get people all het up about ITK PMs. I wouldn't have thought it would be that easy so soon after this morning's frenzy!

Well guys, another surprisingly quiet week, either we're hearing something reliable next week or they're keeping a nice surprise fpr us all to open on deadline day.

 the highs and lows of an United transfer window. It gets to us all one way or another

It hasn't been quiet though. All of the noise does seem to be coming from Italy and Chile though, and absolutely nothing of the sort from our end. I can only imagine us playing a waiting game to properly evaluate his condition, because we don't want to splurge £45 million only to find out he has a rocky future ahead of him regarding staying fit. I think the best time we can hope for solid news will be when he gets back from the tour, after seeing him in action and coming out unscathed. That to me will either encourage us to go ahead with a medical, or the other likely scenario that we were never interested in the first place. Would be silly of us to pass such an opportunity though if he turns out to be alright with the injury, as world class midfielders like him rarely become available at such opportune times.

I dont care how many goals he scored, thats just a bonus to us. We have 3 players that are guaranteed goal getters in front of him. In comparison, Toure was City's top scorer last year.

Was hoping someone had shut it with knowledge of an imminent announcement.

Ah well, we go again.

Ogden saying we didn't want to pay the fee and it's juventus trying to sell him now.

I've never known a club to have more drawn out transfer sagas than United have... Never an easy process whether we end up getting the guy or not

Most bizarre United transfer story. Ever (and that's saying something). I still can't see it happening. Then again, I thought Vermaelen was nailed on, so what the hell do I know?

Yup, there was more concrte evidence that Thiago would join United last summer. It seems people are going along based of faith, hope and the power of social media alone.

From a theorictic footballing perspective, I can not see this move happening either. Based of a tactical hypothesis that I can not see Van Gaal opting for two numbers 8 and an attacking wingback that has shown little proficiency in defense. Three man in the back may accomodate two box to box midfielder, but in the past, Van Gaal seems to always opt for a number 6 in his system. Of course, their is a possibility that Herrera can become a number 6 or we push our centerback more forward and adopt a 1-2-3-2-1-2 formation, but this 1-3-5-2 system has been working well in pre-season so far with a number 6(Fletcher), alongside a number 8(Herrera). With the rumored addition, in Vidal and Cuadrado, I can not see how a midfield will be balance with those attack minded players. However, like van Persie, we may look at this situation as an offer to good to refuse, as such tactical equalibrium may just be thrown out the window because of how good these players are. And we will somehow work around them, to incoporate these players into the team.
