Arturo Vidal

Would you rather we bought Vidal for 50m euro or Pogba for 65m euro? Woodward has to make splash after his interview and comments and I think he will break our transfer record - who will it be?

Tough one. Pogba would probably be the better investment given his age (if we can get him to settle), but I would just love to see Vidal in the red shirt.

Shocked that people suddenly have great confidence in our CM options after three meaningless friendlies that we played okay in.

For me it's more a case of - "being more scared of our lacking depth in defense".

A defender must be signed - and that has priority over our midfield where we have the numbers but not the quality.

You only have to look at Smalling & Rafa - injured now & throughout their time here are always injured.

Jones is injury-prone & Evans spends more time on the treatment table than his own bed.

Its not good enough for a club like ours to have so-many sicknotes. Its not acceptable & i think many of these injury-prone players we have are just soft as cheese & dont want to carry injuries into a game & have gotten away with it.

Look at Nani for instance. He was injured for most of last season - yet he plays in the WC because he ruled himself out of playin for us to get fit for Portugal - not us.

Absolutely sick of players takin the piss at United - Saha being the most obvious example. Injured brain more than body!

Let's not make it worse than it is.

Evans who hasn't been a regular has average 23 matches in the league over the last 3 seasons
Chris Smalling has averaged 20 matches - without being a regular
Phil Jones has averaged 27 matches over the last 3 seasons. And his main problem are knocks because he dives into tackles - that is something he will learn with experience.

The only real concern for me is Rafael with an average of 20 matches the last 3 seasons while being a regular.

I doubt Pogba or Tevez will be putting a good word in for us to Vidal.
Their words have already drowned once Vidal realized we can double his wages. He can put cash between his ears if they keep on bad mouthing.

The only thing I remember seeing is him saying that he was a Mancunian - past tense.

“I love Man United,” he revealed. “I learned a lot there and they make me improve, and give me something to come here and play for Juventus.

“I thank Man United every day because I learned there, training with big players, which gave me experience to come here and get used to playing alongside big players like [Andrea] Pirlo, Arturo Vidal, [Claudio] Marchisio and [Gianluigi] Buffon.”

I think around 19500. Not sure on exact numbers. Vidal will smash it, difference being Berbatov actually signed

Will be the biggest transfer thread the mains has ever seen.
 :nono:

What is the biggest thread in Caf history? Is it the Ronaldo one from 2008?

Just transfer thread? The Sneijder thread in the newbs had around 29000 posts. Joined half way through that bad boy, loved the Caf from then on

This thread is great, don't think i've seen it drop off the first page ever, in fact it always seems to have a post within the 'last few second'........ and nothing ever happens!

I wish we had a seperate thread for credible sources only. All that's happening is people shitposting.
