That's What I was thinking. Unless there's some cunning way for agreeing a fee with a club without ever revealing you want to but their player, what difference does it make I'd it's public knowledge.

"I know we just agreed a £40m fee with United for Vidal, but it says in the paper that United are interested in him... Maybe we should hold out for £50m" said no Juventus director ever.

My Son wakes for a feed at 3am, i go down to warm his bottle. As i cradle him in my arms i look down and see a hungry, upset Vidal wanting milk.

This is just a typical day for me right now!

Notice how he's trapped by the arm. The other players are refusing to let him leave. There's even a security guard to make sure he doesn't make a run for it. #FreeArturo

We've been trying to put Anderson on the market for awhile now so I can sympathize with Mr Agnelli.

His English isn't very good I'd imagine, I'm guessing it means he's happy to be in Jakarta.

Wouldn't look into that pic too much, although I'm thinking more and more that this won't happen.

They might as well give him up should we come calling. We're on the verge of a massive and exciting era and he could not only be part of it but a big contributor to the success on the horizon.
 
Anyone else clutching to the possibility of a loose translation from Vidal of something like "Happy to be in Jakarta" how do you say that in Italian and how does it translate word for word haha......getting desperate here.

Maybe. But the fact that he has written it in English tells a different story :(
 
That Instagram account is not verified, he posted the exact same pic on his verified twitter but with a completely different caption in Italian rather than English. Also the Instagram account has 180k followers while his twitter has 1.5m, it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, what I mean is English is not his first or second language, there is every possibility that the Italian/Spanish translation of "Happy to be staying in Jakarta" translates as simply "Happy to stay here" I have to admit im stretching to get that. Although the "Here" is very telling indeed and simply adding that on the end leaves it open. However I think its a little optimistic of me to think he means just Jakarta. BUT THEN he did hashtag Jakarta. Could it be taken out of context?

Is it for the Indonesian fans? Happy to stay in their city? happy to be there? loves the place? I have to admit when I went there I was happy to stay there, its a great fun city.

Is it for the Juve fans? Im happy to stay here as in the club? but then surely you would say "Im happy to stay with Juventus" and you wouldnt hash tag Jakarta.

Is it in relation to his friends? his Juve team mates? "Im happy to stay here" with his mates who have him in a buddy neck hold sort of joking around. With the hashtag of Jakarta simply being where he is?

Instagram is a lot newer than Twitter. You'll struggle to see many people who have more than a million followers on there because they have less users.

There are a lot of famous people including footballers with a million + followers on Instagram.

He posted that picture on twitter 17 hours before the Instagram one went up. Looks like it's a Juve fan who runs that IG page , uploaded the same picture from twitter with that caption. Vidal rarely posts in English on twitter or even on that supposed Instagram page, as i mentioned before it's odd that he would post Italian on twitter then English on Instagram, they usual post identical things on all formats.
