The only reliable source in Germany is kicker, although they aren't as reliable as they used to be. Local newspapers and some daily/weekly papers for some regions work as well at times. Bild gets things right, but it doesn't happen that often and it's retricted to German football or German players.

(a) we have no obligation to kill the rumour if we just aren't in contact with the player. It serves no purpose for us
(b) If the player's agent is fuelling speculation, there is some hidden agenda. So it makes no sense for the player to deny the link
