Thiago had it all. The signed football, the incredible gif's, the constant meltdowns, hope, despair etc. This has just been a big load of tweets and merry-go-rounds. It'll never come close.

I don't think we ever really wanted him. Reminds me of the Ozil rumours last season where there was no real substance to the story apart from allegedly being offered to us by his agent. Unfortunately like Ozil he'll end up at our rivals. Van Gaal wants Strootman.
