This guy was at the game last night:

The page hanging off the bottom says: "Sign Vidal!"

Anyone notice that toolbag on the left wearing the Darth Vader looking top? :D

To those who say there's no smoke without fire, well we thought it was smoke, but have now realised it was all hot Air

Just added Hummels, Vidal, Shaw and Herrera to Pes2014, I hammered Madrid that includes J.Rodreguez, make of that what you will woody!

Hope this doesn't go through just to boil the piss in here.

Hope Woodward offers £41.27m and £42m would've been accepted. Will laugh my head off
Yeah, that would be hilarious.

I hope we get relegated too, just to piss off all those chumps who think we might challenge for the title next season.

Yeah and while we're at it old Trafford spontaneously combusts and all United fans become City fans and everyone is happy. Especially Sky Sports

Vidal needs to stop this saga, himself.

Say what you want to do !!!

Exactly

With the speculation so intense especially in Italy, you would think Juve would get him to commit his future to them via a presser.

I know...It would be so easy just to say that he definitely won't be leaving Juve! The fact that he hasn't said this confirms to me that there is something in it, just hope this saga doesn't run all the way to deadline day.

I held onto that sentiment last summer with Fabregas, but that ended in tears. I expect this to end the same way, because we don't seem willing to part with the cash to buy a top, world class player, despite the utterances of "watch this space" boy.

I'm not concerned about the transfer or Vidal well being, but more for our muppets's hearts, we need some time to grief and the sooner the better.

Why do so many people on here have selective memories about that one?! He released emphatic statements saying he was staying at Barca and had no interest in leaving on four separate occasions throughout that summer. The first was in May, before the saga had even really started!

They'll be fine. Bit of the hair of the dog, maybe a thread or temp-ban and they'll be right as rain.

And ready for January...

This is a done deal, don't know why some of you are getting your panties in a twist.

Exactly. If there was nothing happening behind the scenes, Vidal could have put this to bed the moment he landed back in Italy. Or Juve could have categorically come out and said Vidal was not for sale at any price. End of story. The fact that they've hedged by saying it's up to the player, and Vidal's camp has been completely silent, and the fact his agent flew in to Turin speaks volumes.

I'm as cautious as anyone about these sagas, but it does seem suspicious that he's been back with the club for a few days now and still not released a single proper statement putting this to bed.

I mean, Fabregas had said he was going nowhere three times by this stage!

You seriously think Fabregas didnt use us to whore himself in the media last summer?

He fed us maybe's & come & get me's throughout the summer & played us like fools..

If he doesn't commit to Juve later today and put an end to this speculation then he's not going to be a Juve player for much longer.

I disagree completely, but here's not the place for that argument.

It's not actually relevant to my point, anyway - regardless of whatever was going on behind the scenes, he kept publicly stating that he was going nowhere. Vidal hasn't even done that much. Which, as I say, would be strange if he'd decided not to move.

Well, lads, we are only 9 pages off bettering the Thiago thread from last Summer! Congrats to all involved when it happens.

You've jinxed it. We'll probably sign him first thing in the morning now and all this will have been for nothing. :(

I hope he doesn't sign, so this 388 page muppetry doesn't get positively reinforced!

The highest paid player in Serie A is De Rossi at €6m a year according to reports. Vidal from the same reports earns around €4.5m a year. With Juve' financial situation they cannot match the personal terms we can offer. So ask yourself, would you move somewhere where your wage would get nearly doubled?

I've only seen him twice before the WC (once in 2010, once in February 2014), but he was similarly impressive both times. I just think he's going under the radar. Only the Italian sides ever seem to show much attention to South American players like him, and then everyone else ends up paying them ridiculous amounts when those players turn into the likes of Sanchez, Vidal etc.

Well it would be nice to get in on one of these players when they're cheap rather than only noticing them once they cost a fortune. He's only 25 so he's at a good age to make the move and people keep saying we'll pull a one out from out of the blue, maybe it'll be Aranguiz.
