Has anything new actually happened in this saga, or is everyone basically just going round in circles on old info still?

How I see it, nothing has really happened but the biggest thing is that no one has really put it to bed which is ... yeah not a bad indication. I think we are definitely interested. Whether or not he comes is also down to Vidal I believe

Assuming van Gaal wants Vidal, I'm still doubtful Woodward will get this deal done.

He'll find a way to feck it up somehow.
The problem could be, like some poster stated earlier, that Vidal has to ask for the transfer. He has no guarantee that we'll bid for him, so he won't ask for the transfer and if he doesn't ask for it Juve will decline our offer.

Of course that's just bullshit, they shouldn't act like pussies and just get the deal done.

If each United fan donated 1 dollar, we'd have enough for Vidal. So I suggest we donate 1 dollar each, sign Vidal ourselves, and then offer him to United as a free agent with only his wages having to be paid for.

We need about 65 fans to donate a dollar each to fund Vidal. Should be easy.

What if Van Gaal does not want him at all, Vidal will be clubless come next season.

Honestly, if Juventus fans want a competition in showing Vidal how much we love him respectively, then they don't stand a chance. We haven't even gone into Gif territory yet!

Juventus fans must be completely out of their mind if selling Vidal sounds like a tragedy to them. Obviously, they never endured what it felt like to lose Cristiano Ronaldo, which was 100 times worse when Ronaldo was not even hitting his prime yet at the time.

Did it hurt badly when we lost Ronaldo? Painful like hell it did! Did we move on since? Hell yeah we did! I expect nothing less from Juventus fans in the Vidal case.

To be fair they have been through a LOT worse (like a thousand times worse) than we have in recent times.

Henry, Cannavaro, Zidane, Ibrahimovic, Thuram, Zambrotta, ...

No he won't. We'll just make a 5-a-side team and let him join, we'd own his ass. Crowd funded player transfers, i like it.

It depends of how far you extend the period when you say "recent times". If I think of the last few years, no one even came close of beating them in the Italian league. If you go back to the mid-2000s, we may speak about a really rough patch because of a political decision (match-fixing) that backfired into everybody's faces and killed the Italian game (if I may say so).

Of course I mentioned Ronaldo, but I could have added names like Beckham, Van Nistelrooy... all players we lost to those vultures from Madrid. What bugs me here is how Juventus fans are making a scene for Vidal right now while I don't recall us making such a scene for any of those 3 big names we lost.

Ill throw another 10 euros if Fellaini is involved in a swap deal.

I would be more than happy to send Fellaini straight to Turin if that helps.

You seriously think Fabregas didnt use us to whore himself in the media last summer?

He fed us maybe's & come & get me's throughout the summer & played us like fools..

I think he was seriously considering leaving last summer and Barca selling till they had to change their managers and Martino attempted to play a more vertical style.

I was just listening to Talksport, and I fully appreciate the unqualified BS they spout, but they mentioned in a transfer update that Juve had accepted a £47m bid for Vidal from UTD, and that personal terms had also been agreed with the player.
Make of this what you will. They didn't back the story up with any quotes or source information, and they do have a track-record of fabricating transfer stories in order to try and scoop rivals; but as they mentioned specific figures I thought there may be something in it ( he says desperately clutching at straws! ).

They're quoting the utter bollocks made up by Caught Offside.

Anybody capable enough to create a timeline since the start of this saga of what Vidal/Juv/United had commented so the rest of us may try to discuss their intentions and the possibilities?

Also, the stories emanating last summer about his woman, re-surfaced again in his decision to go to Chelsea..

Anyway, i hate the prick (always did) & i'm sorry to waste ink on him right now!

Herrera shits all over him :)
