Arturo Vidal

Don't do it to yourselves! Let this thread die now and we'll probably sign him, just like we were surprised with the Herrera signing.

But keep on muppeting and this will just be another Ronaldinho/Sneijder/Hazard/Thiago/Lucas Moura affair. It will just hurt and this place will never be the same afterwards.

I remember lurking at the Caf and reading the Hazard thread back in the day, feeling the same emotions as you muppets and I got attached. I'll never let myself get hurt like that again. It was painful, like when my first ever girlfriend left me but it felt far worse. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat - I couldn't even get a boner for months.

I don't want to be that broken man again.
 You've been hot and cold on this transfer for weeks. This explains why!

It's so clear you think it's on mate. You're not fooling anyone ;)

Tomorrow is the day people. United's official page: Manchester United is happy to announce the signing of Chilean player Arturo Vidal.. Or something like that.
 wouldn't be that soon would it, he only returns tomorrow to training. This will be a mid-late August transfer. We haven't got the bollocks to sort it quicker.

I can't help it mate. I just can't help clicking on this thread, hoping and praying that they'll be a crumb of evidence that the great King Arthur is ready to join the greatest team in England.

But then when I do click on it and it's just filled with the usual nonsense about African rappers and some newspaper which sounds like an Italian lollypop :(

Well he is allegedly talking to Allegri about his future tomorrow, so who knows maybe sth happens.

I long for the day I check this thread to find out we've made an official bid. No idea what to think any more but if it's doable then Woody needs to deliver so we can finally have the central midfield we clearly need. Doesn't look like happening really but you never know. Would be silly to go in to the season with Carrick out and no real quality players to partner Herrera but I can see van Gaal holding out till Jan for Strootman.

If Juve lose Vidal the owner and Allegri know that their supporters will want blood. They are pissed off enough at the moment as it is.

He is only returning back to training tommorow which probably means we are not actually close to signing him. Most players who are about to sign for a club do so even if they are on holidays like Hames, Sanchez etc.

I am afraid we aren't interested actually.

I think our chances of signing Strootman in January are similar to getting Vidal now. Roma clearly won't just roll over and let him leave. The latest comments after the Roma friendly show that.

I think it will be Tuesday or Wednesday if we do sign him

Signing or not singing doesn't depend if the player is on a holiday or not.

The Chilean enjoying the last moments of vacation with marite

TURIN - Last day of vacation, then straight to Turin. It does not seem to have the head to Manchester United, Arturo Vidal, who will enjoy the last remnants of relaxation in the company of his wife, marite. If Llorente and Storari chose the Aeolian Islands for a weekend by the sea, the warrior has opted for a boat trip to Alassio in Liguria. And under the photo posted on Twitter, here are unleashed the comments. "Do not make jokes, Arturo" write the Juventus, "Sign for Manchester" , is the motto of the fans of the Red Devils. Allegri is looking forward to meeting him, van Gaal to snatch it. A sea so, it is beyond doubt, is unlikely to find it in the "perfidious Albion."

Red White and Blue Flag, clear tribute to Evra, who's former club he is soon joining in Man Utd.

Also, Red/White/Blue are going to be Man Utd's three kits this season. Clearly a wink and nudge that it's a done deal.

So much clarity.

More interestingly the flag is that of the Netherlands (LVG anyone);)

He have Holland flag on the boat. Oranjecafe. It is so ON.

Woody don't feck about, throw 50m euros at them and see if it sticks.

To have the chance to sign one of the best midfielders in the world is something we shouldn't let slip away.

Give them 50 million cause we will at the very least make Champions League football next season which looking at it will repay the cost of Vidal's transfer
