Television Arrow | Ending on Season 8

When Diggle released the loonies, only Deadshot was actually helping... where did the rest go? Also, the cop dad of Laurel was in the huge melee at the end, funny how he was able to hold his own against Deathstroke's army!

We go again lads. Comic con's trailer, mentioning Oli's time in Hong-Kong, Ra's al Ghul, Atom and Red Arrow finally in his brand-new red outfit. Season 3 starts in October it seems.

Red Arrow = Arsenal. That's what I read anyway. :D

It's probably somebody
brainwashing him or casting some magic stuff in his dreams or he was simply possessed when he did it. I actually wonder about something other. When Laurel finally told this boxing trainer why she's picked up boxing, he's given her those two fancy suits she's picked the black kimono. This could lead to two things. The boxing trainer is of course Wildcat, guy who fancied wearing black suit himself but on the other hand, in comics, Wildcat was responsible for training i.a. Black Canary, so it makes me wonder, will they make a twist and make Laurel a Wildcat or will she become second Black Canary? Probably the latter though, given that she's taken Sarah jacket, etc.
.

The best part was that he didn't shoot the arrows, he threw them, pretty badass.

Almost certain laurel will become black canary x2. Think her becoming wildcat is deviating away from the comics far too much, even for them.

The best part was that he didn't shoot the arrows, he thew them, pretty badass.

Dont think it was him tbh. The fact he threw them, rather than used a bow is one of the reasons.

Yeah I tend to think that too, the visual of him straight-up spearing her was pretty cool though.

That will be disappointing. They seem to be havign a lot of unresolved plots thats going to lead to some serious conflict down the road. Thea-Ollie relationship when both find out the truth, laurel's with her dad and now this.

And I really dislike the actor who plays laurel, her taking a significant role in the series will be sad.

Didn't we specifically hear the string of a bow being drawn when Sara actually dies.

I don't remember, but that's another reason to believe that he didn't actually do it. I'm hoping they don't dwell on it for too long, and it becomes clear in the next episode whether or not he actually did it.

Which is a further indication that he didn't do it since he's no longer on the Mirakuru drug. Sara could dodge arrows from the League of Assassins and there's no way Roy would be able to throw the arrows faster than he can shoot them.

So is season 3 good? I watched the first episode of it then kind of just stopped

For some reason my first thought was that
Thea
did it, though there's no process behind that thought, just the first person that came to mind.

I'm not a comic book reader so haven't a clue of any background stuff for any of the characters really.

I'm wondering whether Ra'as himself did it right.

Not his style. I think the only one Ra's deems worthy enough to be his opponent is Batman. Could be wrong though. I support @Welsh Wonder's notion.

It's unlikely that Ra'as did it, but it's even more unlikely that /SPOILER/ Thea /SPOILER/ did it. What motivation would she have? Not to mention she lacks the training to pull it off right.

It's starting slow, but I'm liking it so far. The slow build-up to the reveal of Ra'as, the introductions of Ted Grant and Ray Palmer, and Laurel getting less and less annoying are all positives so far this season.

I'm glad they didn't go too far with that story-line, sorted it (from Roy's point of view anyway) in one episode.

Looks like a decent crossover, for a show with a CW budget anyway. Looking forward to it.

Stop with the flashbacks already. It stopped being interesting in the first season.

I agree that the flashbacks this season are stale and uninteresting, but they were great in season 2, better than they were in season 1 in my opinion.

Well holy shit, I thought that it would be hard to beat mid-season finale of the Flash but I think they just managed to do it in Arrow

Obviously, Oli won't be dead so no biggie but I wonder how the plot goes on from here. Looking at the names of upcoming episodes I'd guess that we might have a couple of episodes without Arrow in Starling, 14th episode is called 'The Return' - of course it may refer to anybody's return but I'd assume that it's him who'll return then, especially that we've probably seen the birth of ATOM who can take care of the city while Oli's wounded. 13th episode is called 'Canaries' so it's rather obvious what will happen, no idea why it's in plural though (could they resurrect Sarah?). As for Oliver, I suppose that he'll be either miraculously saved by somebody or resurrected in Lazarus Pit by his fellow friend Maseo or Nyssa herself. I don't think that they'd introduce Maseo in real time action if he wasn't to play some bigger role.

Finally a good episode. Although it doesnt make any sense that he wouldnt ask The Flash to help out given the recent cross-over

Yeah, surely Flash could have fecked Ra's right up. Then again, wasn't there a shot of a news story showing that something in yellow attacked the lab from the Flash finale? That might have been their way of showing us that Barry's got his own shit he's dealing with, which is why he couldn't make it. And now that I'm thinking about it, if Oliver and Barry are equal, maybe Ra's would actually beat Flash no sweat.

I mean sure, but hes the flash so he can be in 2 places at once. Also my point was more that theres 2 of them and its a life or death thing... So even the most stubborn of person should want to put the odds in their favour. Which im thinking will happen anyway, but with The Atom instead. Like he'll show up and grab Oliver as he falls or something and will help him when he has to face Ra's

If this was a comic I'm pretty sure it'd take Arrow, Flash, Atom and (spoilers from Flash)
Firestorm
to beat Ra's which is why I orginally said that it was unlikely he'd be more than cameo appearances in the show. And then I was worried that they were going to ruin Ra's by having Oliver somehow defeat him.

But my worry was misplaced as we saw in that fight scene, they did the right thing

Your name is like Mirakuru. There, I said it.

I don't know why they actually say it the Japanese way. It is basically 'miracle' written in katakana which is the Japanese writing system for foreign words. It would be written ミラクル on the label but it is still pronounced 'miracle'.

Wait why are we using spoilers? I thought all plot discussion was fair game if it's been aired?

I've watched it a second time and I'm now convinced, by Ra's dialogue and prayer at the end that he fully intends Oliver to come back, maybe by getting (Subaru, can't remember his name) to get the body and chuck it into the inevitable Lazarus Pit resurrection. Whether it's because he doesn't believe/know he's Sara's killer or some other reason I don't know, but I think he'll let it happen.

I should note I'm not a comic book reader and thus haven't any real clue about what goes on there, but this is what I've inferred and think will happen.

That's not a bad shout actually. And didn't you hear the guy, Subaru doesn't exist, he is Toyota now.
